Need some advice!

Hello! I’ve recently gotten myself a small gig as a mascot for a local business that’s recently opened up.

I worked a 4 hour shift recently, and the mascot head is super heavy, and pretty much rests on my shoulders. It causes me a lot of pain if I wear it for very long, and gets to me before the heat does.

Is there anything I can do to help with it? I can’t ask for any alterations of the suit since I don’t think I’ll be doing it very often, and they probably won’t agree to alter it anyway. All advice is welcome!

Over heating

I was using my AirPods, and went to put them in the case. I had accidentally left the case open for a few minutes, and when I picked it up it was over heating, and the light was completely off.

It’s cooled down now, the AirPods are inside and the light is back. It wasn’t plugged into a charger when the overheating started happening. I got them last Christmas. Should I be worried?

Infected? Piercing

I got my ears (lobes) pierced when I was a baby (it’s a cultural thing) and I’ve never had problems with my left one, but the right ones always had issues.

It hurts to put jewellery in, and whenever I take the jewellery out it swells a little bit and fluid comes out.

How should I treat it? I’ve had problems with it for a long time. Is there any way to take care of it at home?
