World Cup Meet Ups

Hi everyone,

For those of you in CDMX supporting your country at the World Cup, I’ve made a Discord group to help people connect, chat, and organise meetups/watch parties during the tournament 🍻⚽ (a bit easier to manage than WhatsApp).

Every team has its own channel, so feel free to join your nation’s chat, meet fellow fans, and arrange places to watch games together.

If your country didn’t qualify and you just want to enjoy the atmosphere, watch a game and grab a beer, there’ll also be general chats for upcoming matches and meetups around the city.

There are suggested venues and fixture lists etc. Once you have made plans you can create your own event to see if others are interested.

It’ll probably be a bit quiet for now, but hopefully as the World Cup gets closer we can build a good group of people looking to meet up, watch games, and enjoy the tournament together in CDMX

CDMX - Heading to the game tomorrow at Estadio Banorte (Azteca). I’m (Irish) over visiting my gf who’s here for work, unfortunately I’ve dragged her to enough sporting events so flying solo.

If anyone is going and wants to meet up for a beer before or after get in touch.

There are plenty of tickets left on Fanki (check club America instagram) and there are shuttle buses to and from the stadium every 15mins from Parque Mexico in Condesa running from 1pm to 10pm... if anyone fancies it let me know!
