7 months and I finally finished all 16 books!

I started ACOTAR back in December of 2024 but only listened to the graphic audio of the first book and stopped the series - I didn’t really read much for a while. March of this year, I picked it back up and ended up flying through the series on the graphic audio.

Decided to read TOG next because I had heard great things; I bought the ebooks and audio books and would switch between the two.

Finished off Crescent City last week.

I am having a hard time picking my favorite series. I like ACOTAR because it feels the coziest to me and it was the first one I read - plus I like first person POVs. But I’m re reading the first book now and I feel like there were so many more plot holes/inconsistencies in this series vs the other two. Especially from the first book to the rest.

I think TOG is the most consistent series and most thorough overall world building and well described magic system. It makes the most sense to me and I feel it has less plot holes than the other two. I love all the characters in this one, some got on my nerves at times but they were mostly redeemed for me in the end.

I’m still deciding how I feel about CC, there were parts that really dragged and then parts that were great. The third book was by far the best, and honestly loved the crossover but I’ve always been excited by crossovers - literally since I used to watch Disney Channel and they would do occasional crossovers with their series like Hannah Montana and Suite Life 😂 the only things I feel like aren’t explained well due to the crossover are the differences in how all the fae’s magic works, for example the shifters in CC are never stated to have a weakness to iron but the fae in TOG do - and why would it effect the magic of the shifters but not the magic of the fae from Prythian, since it’s now confirmed they’re in the same universe just different worlds/planets?

I have decided that maybe Sarah is a vibes writer, so I am just going to be a vibes reader for this series and enjoy the ride.

I haven’t read this many books in such a short period of time since I was in high school (I got burned out on reading for fun in college).

I’ve already pre ordered the two next ACOTAR books which will actually be my first physical copies of any of the series (I was in the middle of a move when I restarted reading the series so didn’t want to buy a bunch of physical books to have to then pack up, move around until we found another place).

Question about weather appropriate clothes

We are coming up from SC this weekend to visit King’s Island for the first time. Going to Halloween Haunt on Saturday as well. I see the highs are supposed to be in the 70s, just wondering how it may feel in the afternoon/evening and how quick the temps drop.

Are you all typically wearing shorts and T-shirts all evening or would I be better to bring a sweatshirt in just in case? I’m generally fairly hot natured but sometimes temperatures can feel wildly different in different areas.

Bluey Tonie won’t play or download

Currently in contact with customer service regarding this issue but wondering if anyone else has had a tonie like this. We’ve had our tonie box for several years with zero problems.

We got the Bluey, Muffin, and Bingo tonies on the pre-sale and just now gave them to our kid for her birthday. Muffin and Bingo downloaded and played immediately but Bluey just does nothing - the box light briefly flashes blue then turns green when she is placed on it but no audio ever plays.

We’ve followed all steps so far including resetting the box etc. it’s almost like the tonie has a blank chip in it.
