Is this ok?

So i got this from Amazon on 'like new' and everything is working perfectly fine but on opening my first app- xbox it has been updating at 0% for like 20 minutes.

I was wondering if it was just a little slow at first, or whether this has a problem so it wont even update the xbox app.

Thanks for any help.

Update: it has now been at 97% since this post was uploaded

Edit 2 : finish after 3/4hrs i restarted the whole thing, turns out i need to update some hidden thing i found in the echo centre.

Need help with this decision

Appreciate any help given, this is effectively my situation: so I'm having trouble choosing whether to buy an ROG xbox ally or to just get a laptop.

I understand that you can get steam on an ally as it runs windows, and that you can also get xbox/epic. But I wanted a smooth experience with little tweaking- and something I can have a broad range of games on, so that limits me from home consoles like ps/nintendo/xb.

For my preferences, I would definitely go; speed over pretty much anything- this also includes framerate, price is very important (looking for under or around £500) - this is why I'm finding it so difficult to choose as I understand well-working gaming laptops can be so expensive. And then storage, power, and ease of use.

The games I want to play are very broad: things ranging from Terraria/small indie games like peak, up to larger games like spiderman 2. And i would probably want around 20-40 games installed.

So to sum up i really favour performance over visuals/storage, and play games ranging from different power requirements so its important to be powerful but doesn't need to run like cod or anything massive like modern AC. And i would rather have a cheaper option. This may be a lot to ask or maybe there's something for me- im not really sure about specs so I wanted to ask here and greatly appreciate any help (:

Need help I'm scared

I'm travelling to Munich in September, from Wales- UK. I'm a pescatarian (only meat i eat is fish (jic)) and an extremely picky eater. I know that people don't like it when you come to experience their culture and just eat chips/fries with Ketchup. That's my smallest concern to be honest, and i know there are a lot of Muslims so I think I'll be OK.

The only other thing I'm scared of really is language barriers. Do people often take offense if you don't attempt German? I am learning and am level 30 I think on duolingo but I'm not too confident in my pronunciation. I could understand someone if they talk real slow but the thing I worry most about is an important situation (like a lost passport(never left the UK before)) and that i won't be able to understand people because they're not dumbing down for me to understand.

My final thing is when we get there, how much and in what areas would I need to be speaking German to locals. For example understanding announcers and travel sounds like it may get us lost.

Any help is appreciated.
