Previous clients may have commissioned them only to be sent reams of vague platitudes and obviously ai-generated, difficult to filter, disclosure material. Later, when a serious inventor supplies a “carefully curated” invention disclosure that has ai-generated text for clarity, is dismissed as “Slop”. This “misunderstanding” may cause unnecessary mistrust between lawyers and their clients. It’s therefore incumbent upon all inventors to refrain from excessive ai-generated disclosure submissions and ensure that if you’re planning to use ai material, that you send a sample to your prospective lawyer for review BEFORE you hire them.
