I bought this MP3 player that's made to look and feel like an iPod and it has custom theme support, so I'm making a custom Baldi one! So far I have the background and some UI elements done (I'm making the main big icons Stickers as you can see) as well as a Comic Sans type font but other than that it's still a WIP. It's gonna take a week to ship so I have plenty of time to finish it up.
Today I was working on my game and got pretty bored of it. If you couldn't somehow not already tell, the current version is heavily AI assisted. The code because I'm still learning Luau and most of the map because I really REALLY needed a playable map. So most of what I've been doing is getting ChatGPT to modify / fix up things that are broken while I use the power of "being a real living human being with creativity" to make custom assets and visually improve things.
So after I got the new HUD stuff implemented, I had a neat idea for the text chat. I'm already planning on adding a custom Source Engine type voice command feature into my game later on, so why not give the text chat a voice too? So I got this added in! Now whenever you say anything in text chat, it types out the message and plays a dialog sound I recorded at varying pitches, kind of like Bug Fables if you ever played that game. It's jank and needs a lot of tweaking (like everything in this game its ALL jank rn) but I like how it's turned out!

Also posted it to 2 Discord servers and only in one of them (BB Wiki Discord) someone noticed. Used the 3D model recreation someone used on Twitter and applied Anim8or lighting + a dither effect (which was kinda lost in the low size) to make it blend in more and applied it over Chalkles (cause who cares enough about Chalkles to notice their absence?) in this thumbnail with all the characters. I'm sure out of the 2.8k that saw the post that at least ONE person must've noticed but they never posted a comment about it so I'll take that as a W for me.

One of my friends had their graduation party yesterday so to see him I've had to visit my Dad's house for a week, and one of the things I brought with me to keep myself occupied is my Steam Deck and the dock. But it turns out I forgot to bring my PS4 controller so I had to settle with using my old PS3 controller. I thought to myself "screw it, I'm a nostalgia addict, why not play some Legacy Console on this thing?" so (after an hour of troubleshooting because the mod they use to bring back minigames kept the game from loading) I booted up the Simply Legacy mod pack and oh my goodness it feels like it's 2016 again.
I've played NeoLegacy and Re-Console multiple times but I've kinda kept failing the motivation to continue playing them cause something about them never really felt right to me. But now that I'm experiencing it near 1:1 with how I grew up playing it it's finally clicking for me. I've wanted to do a summer world since April but every time I've started one I've kept putting it off and I think this is what'll get me to start. Halfway through is better than never, right?
It's also made me realize outside the touchpad allowing for better controls with specific games I kinda prefer the PlayStation 3 controller to the PlayStation 4 controller. Something about it is more comfortable, idk.

I'm working on a much higher quality custom guard but for fun I'm also making a lower effort Duggie one using photos of my Duggie puppet to get the poses. I also made this banger mashup for the intro.
