Last night she went full speed out of the door because there was a mouse out there earlier. She hit the shepherds pole for the bird feeder. She was fine when we went to bed right after but in the morning her eye was bad. I took her to the vet and they said she now has Horners Syndrome due to impact trauma. They said she might have improvement with the eye lid, but her pupil sustained damage and will probably remain unable to dilate. She’s already back to business as usual, but it breaks my heart to see her eye like this.

I have a chance to buy this for a few hundred dollars. It hasn’t ran in 10 years. I’ve owned plenty of old bikes over the years and brought alot of them back to life they’ve all been 60s/70s Hondas, kz, and Yamahas. I consider this a “new” bike lol. I know at the least it will need the carbs cleaned, fluids changed, and new tires. Are there any surprises, like engine issues on these that I should be away of? It only has 5000 miles and looks well cared for. It’s kind of not my style but I am intrigued.
