Scared to death

So I’ve had some pretty bad HG throughout my whole pregnancy to the point where I lost substantial amount of weight. Before I got put on the Zofran pump, we tried oral regalan and Zofran and they helped when they could, but weren’t a viable option. OB put me on the Zofran pump and I’ve been on that for the past couple months and that has been working wonders. Well, the company that the Zofran pump is established in is not taking my insurance any longer. I have the rest of the month to have a Zofran pump, but after that, I’ll be discharged from their services and I still have two months left of my pregnancy. Even being on the Zofran pump, it only allowed me to stay at the weight that I was where I wasn’t losing or gaining anything. I’m scared that being off the Zofran pump. I’m gonna continue losing more weight and baby’s not gonna get the nutrients that she needs. Any advice? I have an OB appointment on Friday to do a growth ultrasound and talk next steps, but I feel like they’re just gonna put me back on the oral medication and I don’t know if that will work.

Crap ton of IV fluid bags with Zofran pump

I got referred for a at home zofran pump and my nurse is coming on Friday to get it set up. I got everything today including what’s to be expected but also two HUGE needles (not the site needles) as well as at least 20 bags of IV fluids. There are also what appears to be ketone testers for my urine? Is this a mistake? I thought I was only getting the pump, will they teach me how to do IV fluids as well? First time mom, I don’t even wanna do the zofran pump but I have to I’ve lost 40 pounds and baby needs her nutrients.

How easy is it to get hired at a new company following termination

I posted it on here yesterday asking about pregnancy, attendance and long story short I got fired today because they said that they couldn’t accommodate my pregnancy needs. They were very much like you know we know you’re a great RBT we don’t have any further complaints and they even suggested a clinic that would be more accommodating to try to get hired at. My question is, how easy is it considering the circumstances to get another job as a RBT at a different ABA company?

Pregnancy attendance

I am obviously really upset, please let me know if I’m in the wrong and if this is normal. I am 23 weeks pregnant and I have had a lot of complications, I filled out an attendance hardship for the job because they are really strict about attendance. There’s been a 2 times I’ve gone to the doctor but it be an emergent appointment and it was unexcused. There was one day I called off because I had a fever (in policy I don’t come) but then they sent me home the next day when I had no fever but it was within 24 hours and both of those were unexcused. Well, today I was in the maternity ward since 5 am (didn’t need to clock in til 9:30) I called within a reasonable time to let them know what was going on, on top of some other medical stuff, my baby wasn’t moving on ultrasound and luckily she started moving a little later and was good on Doppler. I called when I got out and she had told me it was another unexcused, i feel like it’s ridiculous, I’m sorry that I could of lost my baby and it made you change your schedule? I’m glad she’s fine but what if she wasn’t, do they still expect you to come in if you miscarry?

Being accused of faking pregnancy

So I am an RBT and my sister in law used to work in the same clinic I do. I know my relationship with my brother is pretty bad (he’s a manipulator and a pathological liar) but I didn’t relies my relationship with SIL was bad. Apparently she told some of my coworkers that she is still in contact with that I was a pathological liar and that I was faking my pregnancy. It was mentioned that there was uncertainty about my pregnancy because they couldn’t tell because I’m a bigger set woman. Well some of coworkers she had told has spread that I was faking it and had kinda joked about my weight in the workplace. I had another coworker let me know and I spoke to upper management about it. I did block my brother and SIL but I’m not sure where to go from here. I’m very embarrassed and I feel uncomfortable in my own skin and that my weight was mentioned especially. And to point out, I am actually pregnant lol my SIL has seen the ultrasound pictures in real life and has felt the firmness of my belly.

Tubing at 25 weeks

Would it be safe to go tubing when at 25 weeks? There’s a company trip next month where we will be tubing and all connected through I think rope? They haven’t clarified the exact location but I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be one of those canoe/kayak company rivers. I was going to speak to my obgyn to get approval medically but what do you guys think?

Sarah’s part

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone talk about this but Sarah’s character of switching the predatory perspective of bear I found was really real. She was so into him that even though she saw her friend be taken advantage she still victimized bear and villainized the actual victim. It really highlights how often times in real like SA situations there are women and men who protect the abuser, blame the victim, etc. what do you guys think about Sarah’s character?
