Hello, I was given a phone appointment for today between 10-12 for my annual redetermination interview. Nobody called me. This has happened a few times in the past and either they call the next day while I am working and can't answer or they send me a notice of missed appointment and deny my application. I wait a day or two to see if they call and wind up calling the 800 number and wait 4 hours to talk to someone. I know they are busy and get behind but I read some of your conversations about a change in error rates or expectations..........is this part of that? I really hope they call today because at midnight that ABE system will send me a notice saying I missed the appointment and my application is denied. Google AI is telling me that by law that isn't how it works and they should be rescheduling the first appointment instead of denying my renewal. I know it's only 1:30 p.m. now but they have NEVER called later in the day on the day. I guess I am just ranting ugh

So say a parent of a teen is really struggling financially and is donating plasma to make a little money but can't afford the full bus fare...............do bus drivers pay attention to what type of Ventra card is tapped? Do they know if an adult uses a high age kids card?? The student cards still seem to charge the reduced fare in summer.

Anyone know what the return donor bonus is at Octapharma these days? I haven't been there in about 18 months.

Does anyone know which option applies to me on the calculator when it comes to utilities? I pay for electric but not heat and also pay for telephone. It's confusing because it says billed for one utility "excluding heat or telephone." Or billed for more than one utility "excluding" which none seem to make sense. I did not get a liheap payment of $21.

Question for workers. I have been doing Door Dash and similar gigs for a few years and was directed to report my earnings/expenses using the 1L444-2790 (R-09-15) Self Employment Record form. This works out perfectly and I have had no problems at all with my renewals or mid point reviews using it. I have been donating plasma weekly and included it on my tax return so shouldn't I be including my plasma donations on the form as well? Will it count as income and be considered part of the work requirements?

So we have had some horrible storms here in Chicago and a lot of the city has no power!! The Biolife on 87th has been closed yesterday and today due to a power outage, anyone else donate there? I just went back there for the new/return donor bonus (you get the new donor bonus again if it's been more than 24 months since your last donation) and this is going to screw it up lol. I am pretty sure they will extend it for me but what about all of the people that need to donate on those days to hit the weekly goal or whatever? I feel bad for them. I actually will not be returned to Biolife after I hit my bonus goal because we have an abundance of centers here and Octapharma pays the same amount for every donation with no appointment needed lol.

Anyone feel annoyed all day after donating lol? I am a super bubbly person that doesn't let much in life aggravate them but the past few donations I am just annoyed the whole day. It starts a few hours after donating. It has nothing to do with the donation process either. I have had a very pleasant experience at the center and don't wait long. Nothing there annoys me and I have been donating for like 6 years (with breaks). Lately I am in a bad mood all day. So weird and could be a coincidence but maybe not.

Anyone rehydrate after donating with alkaline water? I know electrolytes are best but I never hear anyone talk about alkaline water.

Hi I wore acrylics for like 30 years and have finally grown out my natural nails. They are a bit long and a tad bit strong. I would like to start polishing them myself and am looking for suggestions on a good polish and possibly a top coat that will make them as strong as can be lol.

It's weird to me that after 2 years of quitting I still battle with the loss of dopamine from cigarettes!! Or from nicotine I guess. I smoked for 40 years and quit cold turkey 2/21/2024 with no preparation or planning. I just woke up one day and said no more. I don't even want anything to do with cigarettes but I wish I could get that mental energy feeling I got from them. They didn't help me with stress or anything like that. I feel like they helped me concentrate or something I don't know!! I eat right and exercise and am in very good health with no diseases or conditions or prescriptions needed at 54. I am not sure why I'm posting this...just a rant I guess.

To me they look so bad but don't hurt. I am 54 and have had the left for many years and the right for just a couple. They really don't hurt though so I am not getting surgery. I walk a lot and drive for a living often delivering for Amazon so I use them a lot. I am so thankful to not be in horrible pain. It would be nice to have better looking feet though. I wear gym shoes and crocs and have a couple of super cozy sort of dressy flats.

So I smoked cigarettes for like 40 years and quit cold turkey on 2/21/24. I never realized how much nicotine motivated me to do so many things like cleaning and organizing. It also gave me mental clarity and focus. I do have energy but am unmotivated. I am not sad or depressed but have become a huge procrastinator! It's hard to describe but it started when I quit smoking.

I will never smoke again but dang I miss whatever it did to my brain. I have taken the following vitamins/supplements for many years. Multi, B complex, c, d, calcium, magnesium, collagen, alpha lopoic acid, coq10 and melatonin.

Do you all have any suggestions for something that may help me?? I am 54 and have no health conditions or diseases and take no medicine.

Hey so what do you all do when all of the videos are identical?? I just returned one because all of the comparisons were identical. In the past I have done these and just picked something and switched up my choices but I am curious if you all return them. Yes the $5 ones
