Best AAA tutor?

Hi,

Could you please recommend a good tutor for AAA?

I've shortlisted:

  • Owais Mirchawala
  • Kashif Kamran
  • Affaf Noor

I'm also open to other recommendations if you think there's someone better.

AFM or AAA as my last ACCA paper?

Hey everyone,

I need some honest and unbiased advice from people who have actually sat AFM, AAA, or ideally both.

This will be my last ACCA paper, and I'm genuinely confused about which one to choose.

I'm not looking for comments like "take the one you like more" or "it depends." I'd really appreciate insights based on your actual experience.

Some things I'd love to know:

  • Which paper did you find more difficult and why?
  • Which one required more study time?
  • How did the exam itself compare?
  • Were there any surprises or things you wish you knew beforehand?
  • If you had to do it again, would you still choose the same paper?

I'd really appreciate hearing both the pros and cons of each paper. I'm trying to make the most informed decision possible before I commit.

Thanks in advance!

SBR attempt in Dec – AAA or AFM as my second paper? Need advice

Hey everyone,

I'll be reattempting SBR in December 2026 after narrowly failing my last attempt by just a few marks.

Since I'm currently a full-time student, I'm thinking of taking one more Strategic Professional paper alongside SBR. However, I'm really confused between AAA and AFM.

From what I've seen:

  • AFM looks quite technical and challenging, but I've heard that question styles tend to repeat, there's a decent amount of theory, and the own figure rule can help if you make mistakes earlier in a question.
  • AAA, on the other hand, seems to have easier subject matter with no complicated or twisted calculations, but those pass rates are honestly very discouraging. Even people I know who work in audit firms have needed a second attempt to pass AAA.

One thing to keep in mind is that December 2026 will be my last ACCA attempt before I travel next year, so I really want to clear my remaining two papers in that sitting.

For those who've taken either (or both), which combination would you recommend with SBR? Which paper is more manageable alongside an SBR resit?

Also, I'd really appreciate recommendations for good lecturers/tutors for AAA and AFM (especially if you've personally studied with them).

Thanks in advance!

planning my masters - advice needed

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to move to Australia (most likely Melbourne) for my Master's and could really use some advice from people who've been through this.

My qualifications:

  • ACCA Affiliate
  • Bachelor's in Business from a decent university (average/decent CGPA)
  • Good IELTS score
  • Can take the GRE/GMAT if a program requires it
  • My eldest cousin lives in Melbourne, so I'll be living with him. Thankfully, accommodation isn't an issue, and he'll also be helping me with my tuition fees.

I've shortlisted these universities:

  • University of Melbourne
  • Monash University
  • RMIT University
  • Deakin University
  • La Trobe University

My biggest confusion is what Master's degree I should choose.

Initially, I was thinking of a general business degree, but after reading about Australia's PR pathways, skills assessments, and the skilled occupation lists, I'm worried that a generic business qualification won't really help with PR.

My long-term goal is:

Get a good graduate job.

Maximize my chances of obtaining PR.

If you were in my position, which university and Master's program would you choose?

I'd especially appreciate advice from people who have studied in Melbourne or have gone through the PR process recently.

Thanks in advance!

My First Console: Is a PS5 Still Worth Buying

Hey guys,

I just finished MBBS and started my house job. I've been saving up for a while, and if all goes according to plan, I'll be buying a PS5 Disc Edition around late December 2026 or early 2027.

This will be my first ever console, so I'm wondering: is it still worth buying by then? My only concern is the PS6. When do you think it'll launch, and how long before most games and players shift over?

Or should I just keep saving and target the PS6 instead?

Would love to hear your thoughts!
