I am applying for match this year with USCE as a non-US IMG. Have a score of 247 and 8 scholarly activities. No gaps. YOG 2024. Have 3 home country LORs. I am applying mainly to targeted IM progs but think of applying to FM as well to for better chances. I am applying to these as my CV currently aligns with these two. (Deep down I like Derm:')) but have nothing but a 3 months home country internship, a derm HOD LOR, and a derm research with a PI from NIH. Should I just not apply to something a like because its far from reality rn or should I take chances and give it a try :') can anyone give me a formula or advice on how should I be targeting these if yes or simply settle for IM/FM for now?

Yesterday when I was on my ER duty as a Medical Officer, Isl, Pakistan, a 90 yrs old patient with history of gastroenteritis since 6-7 days experienced a drug reaction to an antibiotic. I politely explained the condition to attendants and told them that drug reactions can happen to anyone and due to any drug and these are unpredictable events. His attendant started threatening me and grabbed my hand to check his patient or else he would not spare me. This was my first experience of HCW abuse and I was completely out my senses at that time. I didn't even took any picture of his slip or anything, had to call the guard from the gate of hospital (only one guard in the entire hospital), no other doctor to help apart from a junior HO and 2 male nurses from nursing staff. Now I plan to report the incident but I don't know patient's name and wards dont have cameras ig. What are international protocols or protocols in Pakistan for such cases? How to approach this incident?

My pathway application was approved yesterday. As I took my step 2 CK in April 2026, my credentials verification was done and my application for certification was accepted before taking CK. Now, what are the next steps to get the ECFMG certificate (hardcopy) delivered at my address? Or the process has been completed?

Right now I see no such option to apply for the certificate per se on MyIntealth. Does this have something to do with the USMLE transcript cause that's the only thing I am left with?

I am applying for match 2027 and I paid the $945 fee for ecfmg certification on 20 July 2026. I have completed all the requirements for pathway 1 (USMLE Steps 1 and 2 CK), OET Medicine (scores released to ECFMG) and a good standing certificate from my home country (i.e. PMDC). Still I have not received any email nor my application processing has begun on the portal and my OET results are still not showing on Intealth ECFMG certification tab, only step scores are showing. Also I received my good standing certificate month ago from PMDC via email and post as well and they must have emailed that to ECFMG too as I filled out their email on my Good standing application. Yet I have no update on why is there a delay in the processing to start. Can anyone wak me through this process because I am not sure if it's just me or it is typical for certification processing timing.

Due to 2 very similar emails of my professor, I mistakenly inserted the wrong email for LOR request. Now I have generated another request with the correct email. But does it matter. Do programs see that other empty request with no LOR on my application? Is there a way to remove that request with the wrong email?

Hi, I uploaded my ERAS picture to MyIntealth on 02 July 2026 and my cases section shows the last modified date of 03 july 2026, pending document upload and no action required. How long does this typically take or do I have to submit a new picture and something is wrong?

I want some guidance regarding documents that need to be uploaded on MyERAS application. Which of these are to be directly uploaded by medical school-Med school transcript, MSPE, IMSEL?

Also how to upload LORs, especially if I have some home country LORs and I want them to upload it what is the process?

Hi, I cleared my OET with three Bs and an A on 12 June, 2026. I granted access to ECFMG through my OET hub account but my results aren't showing up on the MyIntealth portal till now. Can anyone who has recently applied for certification through this process guide me how long it takes typically and whether I should wait or contact someone about this? Also, when ECFMG/Intealth does get the results, do they update the applicant about that or I would need to check the portal regularly.

I wanna ask if my roleplay finished before the time ended and my tasks were done about 50 seconds remaining because I couldn't find anything to sya as it was a followup case with the patient accepting everything I reassured them about easily lol, does that affect score? Even i didn't find summarizing was a good idea after saying the same thing atleast 2 times.

The interlocutor did ask me a question that wasn't mentioned on the task card in the end that i answered to cover the time. The second role play, on the other hand went well and expanded till the end.
