I hate how the internet memes schizophrenia

I'm an autistic man dating someone with schizophrenia.

I hate the meme that's "a schizophrenic is talking litsen and learn" because actually, WE NEED TO LITSEN TO THEM. They need us to listen to their struggles and how they live their daily life, it's a heavly stigmatised mental illness that we need to understand better, and if they are having a crisis, we should also listen to them to know what's happening and act accordingly.

Those memes feel we are isolating them and making them less worth.

This is an example only. There are many more memes that make my blood boil, I hope people understand that they are humans too and not only symptoms.

Has some of you make an OC based on your horse/a horse you met irl?

I been thinking in Turing the two horses I did therapy with in the past (A white mare called vanilla and and light brown stallion named Chano) into mlp ocs, I was wondering if any of you did something similar, I love horses irl and I thought that would be a great way to remember them forever.

I would love to hear your stories about it!

My classmate snaped when I told her that my grandma is luteran

Hi, everyone I'm an ex catholic in Spain, my uni is doing potluck because of end of exams, I searched for more info and the chapel of my uni building is the ones who are preparing it, I wanted to know how catholic the event is going to be and if classmates were going to determine if it was worth it.

I asked a classmate who I knew was Catholic if she knew about the event, and the conversation devolved into our personal faiths, and when I told her that my grandmother was Lutheran, she got really angry and entered into a rant about how selfish Martin Luther was and how he just wanted money and power, she also told me if I want to be catholic again I can call her, then the profesor came and I didn't talked to her in all the duration of the class.

I have never seen someone getting so angry about this and calling Luther selfish when he complained about the abuse of the Catholic church???????

Yeah, I'm not talking to her again if it's not necessary.

Also, I'm not going to the potluck because it's really Catholic.
