27 years old, pero wala pa ring credit card. Am I missing out good deals or any life hacks?

Hello KKB! 👋

New Redditor lang ako and recently ko lang na-discover itong sub, although matagal ko na rin nakikita yung KKB sa Facebook. 😅

I wanted to ask for advice sana regarding getting my first credit card. Honestly, zero knowledge talaga ako when it comes to credit cards, so hindi ko alam kung saang bank or anong type ng CC ang magandang kunin as a beginner.

For context, 27 y.o. ako, currently working as a VA, and earning around ₱50k/month.

Would really appreciate your advice regarding:

• Anong bank and specific CC ang marerecommend niyo?
• Ano yung mga dapat kong tinitingnan when choosing a credit card?
• Paano ba talaga gumagana ang credit card?
• Paano siya properly bayaran?
• Ano yung actual perks/benefits ng having a credit card?

If may alam din kayong YouTube videos, Reddit posts, or beginner-friendly guides na nag-e-explain ng credit cards from the very basics, please share them!

Basically, gusto ko muna talagang matuto bago kumuha. Ayoko kasi mag-apply just because may magandang promo or cashback, tapos later ko marealize na may fees pala or hindi pala bagay sa spending habits ko. 😂

Would love to hear from those who were once beginners too!

If you were earning around ₱50k/month and getting your first-ever credit card today, anong card ang pipiliin niyo and why? 💳

Salamat in advance! 🙌

I’m 27 and currently working as a VA.

After a year of working, nakapag-save ako ng ganitong amount, and right now, feeling ko this is the best time for me to start investing. The problem is, hindi talaga ako financially literate, so honestly, I don’t know where to start.

Could you guys please guide me on what I should prioritize first, what I should invest in, how much of my monthly salary should I save or spend, and ano pa yung ibang things na kailangan kong malaman?

I’d really appreciate advice from people who have been in a similar situation. Hindi naman ako naghahanap ng get-rich-quick scheme. I just want to learn how to manage my money properly, build my finances, and eventually make my savings work for me.

Worth buying the iPhone 17 NOW? 📱🤔

I’ve been using an iPhone 13 for almost two years now, and I’m seriously considering upgrading. 👀

With all the rumors about possible price increases due to the RAM and storage shortage, plus the upcoming release of the iPhone 18 series, although the base model is reportedly coming out early next year, do you think now is the best time to buy an iPhone 17?

Would you go for the iPhone 17 Pro if budget wasn’t an issue, or is the regular iPhone 17 already more than enough?

I really appreciate having clear and high quality photos whenever I do take pictures. 📸

I was an Android user back then, but I ain’t going back. 😂 So Android isn’t really an option for me anymore.

Also, are there any tech reviewers who focus on iPhones that you recommend following or watching? I’d love to hear your suggestions before I make the jump.
