Piandao - slicing sword

Azula - blue

Long feng - Dragon Phoenix

Wan Shi Tongs Library - He who knows 10,000 things

Lake Laogai - reform through labour

Hei Bai - Black White

Ran & Shaw - Storm & Fire

Ty Lee - Lee can mean plum as a surname

Bumi - Land

these are just ones that are almost direct translations from a language and doesn’t include names like Gyatso who is inspired by a real life Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso.

it seems all of the white and red lotus have names inspired by other languages which I think is cool but I have only included the ones that are quite definitive

To preface I am a champ fist, right now his ult is cool but I don’t think it’s what he needs, I want burst damage. something like wolverines ult where the damge wint wipe a team but you get it so quickly that you can use it on one or two targets. I want to be able to dive a backline do some damage and finish with like a super punch. ideally it’s like a ultimate level power of buckys upercut so massive hitbox where I can push and do very high damage, his ult is very usefull for stalling points n shit but I just want burst damage give me burst damage for fucks sake net ease

Piandao who is Sokkas sword teacher acc has a name derive from Chinese. I’ve been getting into swords recently and there’s actually a sword called a piandao which is a type of dao (Chinese saber) and translates to slicing saber. It’s a very curved dao which are already curved swords and it is single edged, they are built for slicing. But what confuses me is that he doesn’t use one! Either way he’s a cool character with a cooler name and you guys probably already know this but I wanted to share it!
