I’m debating picking up a dualsport. Something easy entry level in terms of price and capability like an xr150l. I would only occasionally ride for fun on easy dirt/gravel roads or maybe on the paved backroads of my town. All low speed and easy. I’m just debating if id be foolish to spend that kind of money if I only ride occasionally, but in terms of hobbies, it’s a lot cheaper than some alternatives!

How often do you all ride to make it “worth it”?

Looking at casual riding occasionally. Short, low-speed commute to work sometimes, and gravel/dirt road flat casual riding. Top speed for both would be around 30-35mph max. Probably 85%commute/15%offroad. Hot dry summer climate mostly with 90-100 degrees frequently. I'm stuck on what helmet to get. Spring /Fll is 50s-80s mostly. I wont ride in the snowy winter weather from late Oct-March.

Leaning towards one of these:
Scorpion Exo T520 or the Scorpion AT960

I like how both have the internal sun visor. I like the look of the AT960 more overall, but I dont think Id really ever use the modular feature and the visor sounds pretty flimsy and useless. The Bell MX9 seems to be more off-road oriented overall, and most of my riding is not that, unfortunately.

Any suggestions? Anyone have the T520 or AT960 and want to chime in? Like to stay under $400 if I can, especially since I wont be racking up the miles in any sense and will be low speed all the time.

edit: so hot here I've convinced myself to not get a black or grey helmet, so the styles of either of my Scorpion's im eyeing would be pure white or red/white/blue Zuse (520) or topography (960)

harvester event was really the only thing on my map to go do for high value mats last night. I did 5 maps in a row of it but every single time the queen was picked clean before I could reach her. as soon as she started exploding I stopped shooting and ran straight for her, but still got beat every single time. harvester only dropped blueprints for me so worthless if I’m trying to get stuff to give to the trader guy. what’s the trick?

edit: trader should take seeds! I’ve got 1500+ 😄

Is it PT076-60200-02? I have the pro wheels on my ‘24 4R but the lugs are still chrome. Want to make sure I get the correct black ones. Thanks!
