First finished ruin from the Ruined Village set

So I got a few things during the MMF summer sale and have slowly been working my way through printing them all. Did a massive batch of underpainting yesterday and this is the first piece with the details painted.

I really love the underpainting technique for getting quick, visually interesting stonework. This was probably about 30 mins of actual brushwork afterwards, which was mostly drybrushing.

The file is from The Ruined Village by Dani Amengual on MMF.

Finished my first warband 🥳

Got these short kings finished up and ready to follow a greedy wizard to their untimely deaths!

From L-R we've got Templar, Infantryman/Thug, Thief/Treasure Hunter, Dwarf at Arms, Apothecary/Apprentice (until I find a decent dwarf model), Archer/Marksman, Knight, Infantryman/Thug, Archer.

The models are a mix of Oathmark Light and Heavy Dwarf Infantry, great kits and really cheap for the quality 👌

Game sliders: a friendly reminder to play how you like 👍

Just a reminder that you can change these to suit your preferences. Sick of raids killing your pets? Turn raids off. Don't have hours to grind basic materials? 3x that slider baby!

I don't have as much gaming time as I'd like, so I want to spend that time doing the parts of the game I actually like doing. I'd never tried it before but 3x resources is actually great, you still have to leave your base and gather things, and it still feels just like Valheim should.

It's honestly just a really great feature and makes the game much more accessible 👏

Beauty shot of my Prosecutors

Took some fancy pics of these on my display board and was lucky enough to win last month's Aqshy themed painting comp over on the Storm keep discord.

The Prosecutors are probably my favourite unit that I've painted, the wings were so time consuming though I still haven't worked up the courage to reinforce the unit 😅

The display board is mostly polystyrene with plaster wrap over the top, with the ruins and portal being 3D printed. I used Photoroom app to add in the background images (that I found on google, not AI generated!)

Thanks for looking 🤘

Cthrion Uroniziir - Ancient Onyx Dragon

When I told my friend I'd paint his Kickstarter model for him I had no idea what I was getting myself into... Great sculpt though, and probably the biggest thing I've painted so far!

Thanks for looking 🫶

First bit of terrain for my Frostgrave table 🥳

I've got the rulebook and have slowly been accruing enough terrain to fill my mat. I spent a little while on this though so I'm going to have to work out a quicker painting method to get through a whole tables worth!

Thanks for looking 🙏
