Network Operations Engineer for Astreya?

I got a call out of the blue from a recruiter wanting me to interview for Astreya, saying it was supporting Meta and Google. I did really well in the interview and got offered a position for $85k a year on site. I have currently been employed at the same company for the last 4 years and recently they got sold and my role has become 2nd shift help desk rather than network engineer. There isn't much to do on 2nd shift as hardly anyone puts in tickets at that time. This job with Astreya would be a pretty big salary upgrade, probably 20k per year for me. I've read a lot of mixed reviews about working at Astreya and I also saw some vague claims that its a scam. Does anyone have experience with this role at astreya or something similar? I am just worried about leaving my current wfh job if this is not going to work out long term.

I finally got the matching set :) Varmilo VA87M/C- Red/Koi.

I really love the art on this and the keyboard is amazing quality. Its a bit heavier than I was expecting since its metal. I got the one with red switches. Got it for $50 off ebay. It was just missing the arrow keys but I had some extra from my Ducky.

What do I [M39] do about frequently getting into huge fights about transportation with my wife [F30]?

Firstly, my wife is very intelligent and capable but she does struggle with some physical stuff. She just doesn't have the best coordination and spatial awareness. Due to this, she has been very adverse to learning how to provide her own transportation. We have been married for almost 2 years and I have been trying to encourage her to learn how to drive and ride a bike. We live in a major city and her job is only a few miles away as well as the gym, these being the two places she needs to go almost every day. She could easily ride a bike to the gym in 15 mins and 30 mins to work. She could also drive in much less time.

We keep getting into these huge fights that are usually started by some simple miscommunication or me just not being up for driving in rush hour traffic or being too tired, etc. I don't mind being her chauffer most of the time but she gets extremely upset if she wants to go somewhere and I don't. It's gotten to the point where I don't want to drive her anywhere anymore because she won't learn how to drive or ride a bike. I bought her a very nice bike and she has only spent one day learning how to ride in the last few months. I also told her I would teach her how to drive and she could take my car to work every day since I work from home. I would love this because right now I basically get done working and immediately have to go out into rush hour. I also don't want to go the gym 7 days a week like she does. I am happy to go four days but 7 is too much for me since I work 12 hour shifts.

I gave up on trying to teach her to ride a bike because she got upset at the way I was trying to teach her and I explained that she would probably feel the same about learning a car. I also said I wasn't going to move on to learning a car if she couldn't take the time to learn a bike.

It came to big argument again today because I said I would pick her up from work but my phone was going through an update and I didn't log back in after it restarted. I got her message that she was off at 8:00pm at 8:05. I didn't think much of it and told her to either take the bus (one bus, that takes about 30 mins) or call an uber (I pay for them). She gets home and freaks out on me about being late to the gym and how I would rather sit on my computer than come pick her up. This is like the 10th time she has done this and I told her all her transportation needs would now be her problem and I was not going to pay for ubers anymore. I feel like I may have gone to far but I don't know what else to do to get her to take some responsibility for transportation. It's not just paying for gas, its that its like 1-2 hours out of my day just driving her around. Sometimes I even drive her to the gym and go home and then come back to get her, so 4 trips. I'm at my wits end here and I need advice.

Tried cleaning my monitor, might have damaged it.

I made the mistake of using some "for computer screen" wipes that I had. Now there is a huge smudge and I found out that I might have damaged the coating. Is there any fix for this?

I decided it was time to upgrade monitors and I had a Dell 32" 2k Curved VA monitor that I really liked due to its size and actually liked the curve. I was hoping to find a 32" 2k OLED but from what I can tell all the 32" OLEDs are 4k. My pc has a 5070ti and a 7800x3d so I'm sure its capable of running 4k, but how capable I'm not sure. The price difference is also quite extreme being almost double the price of the 27" 2k OLEDs.

My question is am I stupid for trying to do 4k gaming? Would it just make more sense to stay with 2k and lose the 4" of screen?

Alternatively, there is someone selling an Alienware AW3225QF 31.6" 4K OLED locally for $550. The cheapest I've seen this is around $800 online. Is there anything about this monitor that would make you not want to buy it? I know its about 2 years old but other than that the reviews are great.

Hoping someone will have some suggestions. We bought this phone from ATT and had to go through the unlocking process before switching it over. It has been functioning a bit off since then. First, there is no longer and option to turn on Wifi calling in the settings when there was with ATT. Its not greyed out or anything, its just not there.

The other issue is that most days I have to restart the phone because it says its not connected to a network. It shows no signal/no bars and emergency calls only. A restart will fix it but its annoying to do every day.

I did the basic recommended trouble shooting stuff but its not fixing it.

I have a ROG STRIX Z690-F GAMING WIFI Mother Board that I was hoping to get $100 for, but I haven't had any interest in it. I would hate to see it just go to waste as I have no use for it so I'm open to any offer really.

It's this one
