I recently went through going from 2 birds for a year to 4 in like under a month, any toy bundles I can get/ you guys reccomend?

Still no owner, I’ve accepted that i’m gunna probably keep him for forever now! As of now he’s still living in my bathroom untill hes recall trained and wont break open my fingers if i ask him to step up, but training has been going along! He wants to come to me now and have been using his favorite food (sunflower seeds) as a reward for training. So far hes doing good and settling nicely, only thing wrong with him is his biting problem and territoriality towards his cage (which is a common quaker thing)

King is not cuddly at all and dutchess is THE cuddle monster they always fight over me and its usually dutchess that initiats it but she was just loafing

They would never be left unsupervised, but can you guys tell me your experience with quakers and smaller conures, for example I have a half moon and a crimson belly conure and this “rescue” quaker I’ve ahd for about a week. I cant find his family and hes been to the vet to clear disease, I want to intros soon.

Problems:

He doesnt step up without biting HARD ive alrdy got some scabs from him.

Hes about 45 grams heavier then my other birds.

I know they are territorial of their cage, so i try and take them out snd they bite me, i try and put them back and they fly onto my shoulder and head and bite my ears (picture is from first 3 days and cage has gotten better since)

Its to the point i cant even get the water/ food out of the cage without being scared to even open the sliding doors. I need help.

He had poopy vent and i just found it and removed the stuck poop and removed some feathers around the area to prevent it. I have enough money saved cor my own bird’s vet bills as im an unpaid intern rn and didnt expect to have another bird in my life. Hopefuly I’ll get a job there soon hopefully end of month and be able to care more.

Issues:
He was starving for who knows how long and is inly eating seeds, should i let him be for the time being or try to switch to chop/ veggie ASAP.

Poopy butt, should i be worried about anything else?

found him in citris park chipotle! he was starving and is definitely hand tamed and is sitting with me as i type this letting me pet him. No band or anything, hes fully flighted and only eats seeds! I need serious proof of this being him

If im not able to find an owner im gunna prob keep! I have never owned a quaker nor did i expect to get one atleast so soon. Should i worry with conures theyre going to be seperate enclosed cage IF i dont find an owner and hes out of “quaruntine” never unsupervised, i have crimson belly and half moon. Definitely a pet flew onto my friends head and steps up eats from hand.
Gunna bring him to get tested for microchip and post on different cites tomorrow morning!
He only eats seeds if that helps anyone! Hopefully i find his home!

My Boyfriend might have to watch my birds for a week while im on vacation he has roomates and I wanted to know how long birds couldnt be in the same room as candles/ teflon. I understand both are toxic and they should never be with them and they arent under usual circumstances.

If the roomates were to burn a candle and the birds are left outside how long until they are allowed back inside? I obviously would tell them that they couldnt and yada yada. they also only have nonstick pans/ pots so the same applies to those

She is a almost year old crimson belly, im hoping its because puberty + hormone season and that it’ll all stop once she mellows out.
She screams constantly. Like. Non stop, not even for a minute. I also posted about her screaming at night, she no longer does that much but now she wakes up before me to scream and wake me up. My other bird never does this.

I’ve been rotating her toys ever 2-3 weeks and just bought another entire 3 boxes of toys. She’ll use one then scream the rest of the day and not even touch half of them. She wont even talk to my other bird (different species but she used to) bc she now hates him and doesnt tolerate him being in the same room as me (i just got her last year ive had my other for 4) Shes driving me actually mental. My Half moon used to be bad but not nearly as bad as her. She terroizes me whenever i get home 😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸 please help
