Delinquent

Hi I am trying to build my credit but I had to stop paying my one and only credit card (Capital One) due to becoming a one income household with two kids. The credit card went into delinquency in May. I am finally working again and making income and would love to rebuild my credit but I don’t know where to start with that being on my record now for the next 7 years. Is it even possible to get another credit card and pay that off to start rebuilding my score again? This delinquent credit card was the only thing I had to my name & it’s sitting at $700 to pay off. Is it worth it paying that off? Help! All advice would be greatly appreciated

Negative equity worth it?

Hello I owe $31K on my GMC. I am trying to get rid of it by selling it to carmax as it’s the only company offering the highest amount of $23,400. That would put me at about $8K in negative equity. GMC has given me so many problems that I am looking into getting into a Toyota. Is there any advice yall can give me. The $8k will obviously go into the new car loan correct?

Vehicle trade in

Hello I am looking to trade in my 2023 GMC Acadia SLE. It has been nothing but problems for my family and I. I purchased it brand new in 2023 and it currently has 35K miles on it. I’m looking for advice considering I’ll probably be a little upside down on it. We currently owe $31K on it and looking for a Toyota. My question is what is the smartest way to go about a trade in since I understand most salesmen do not want to help if you’ll be upside down. Keeping the current vehicle is not an option for us either. A little back side on the Acadia we purchased in 2023 a year later we had to have a brand new battery put in due to it not starting. Luckily it was under warranty. In that same year we started experiencing the breaks squeaking so loud every time we press on the breaks. Dealership said “it’s normal” as if every car on this planet squeaks that loud whenever breaks are applied. So that never got fixed til this day. During this time I pick up my son at school and while I’m sitting idle in the car line the vehicle just shuts off no warning or anything. I brought it into the dealership twice for this reason and they still cannot come up with a solution. Now my check engine light is on and I’m pretty sure it’s due to my remote start on the car keys not working so when I try to start it with the car keys it won’t turn on. But when I’m in the car with the keys it’ll start with the push to start button. I brought it into the dealership for this problem and they just ran their codes erased whatever it is they did and sent me on my way with again no solution. I really just am helpless in this situation with this Acadia. I would love any and all advice on trading in. We are looking for preferably a 2024-2026 used Toyota that’s 3 rows.
