I recently made the switch from console to PC gaming. While I’m loving the performance, I’m finding it difficult to adapt to the movement controls in single-player games. On a controller, I’m used to having analog control, which allows for cinematic, paced walking that feels perfect for roleplaying and exploration.

With a standard keyboard, my movement feels binary and rushed, which breaks the immersion I’m looking for. I’ve heard of the "Walk by Default 2.0" mod for Cyberpunk 2077, but I’ve seen mixed reviews regarding its stability and effectiveness.

Does anyone have experience with this mod, or are there better ways to achieve granular movement speeds on a keyboard? I’d prefer to stick with M&K if possible, but I’m tempted to switch back to a controller if I can't find a way to get that "cinematic" walking feel. Any tips or alternative mod recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

hey guys i have been looking at options when comes keyboard before switching back to controller. so when comes single player games i like to play them like im show casing new game to public very cinematic lol is habit of me and how enjoy games making it more immersive during those single players games and current keyboard i have is very responsive so i cant walk around at pace i want like controller where i can slow it down and speed it up little bit or fast if i want but with my current keyboard i cant do that feel like im speed running story is theres option for what im looking for on keyboard if not then may switch back to controller !
