Got my GTAs on

205/55/16 running 20mm spacers. Rear is rubbing a bit on large bumps, so I’ll need to roll the fenders a bit. And I personally think the front should come down about half an inch to an inch.

I could have ran smaller tires, but I hate the way stretched tires look.

Fronts on the rear, rears on the front.

C30 seats basically bolt into 240s

I’ll need to add a few washers to the back and a little longer bolts. Re-use the 242 seat brackets/slides. I should be able to retain the heaters, and gotta look at the wiring for the drivers (electric unfortunately) so I can put that one in.

I was completely shocked the seats basically bolt in.

Professional of 15 years here. Just joined a new shop. Stumped by this truck, handed this as it’s gone thru everyone else in the shop.

Misfire cyl 2 very subtle. Can only feel it in park and neutral. At 1600-1800 rpm. DTC sets on long test drives.

What they did before I got here.
Coils, plugs, injectors, jasper engine. Edit: PCM as well.

What I’ve done.
Ran new signal wires from pcm to injector 2 and coil 2. Intake manifold cleaning. Throttle cleaning. Crank position sensor. Swapped coils and plugs from cyl 3. Crank relearn. Throttle learn. (Pins at connectors look and feel good).

I’ll be swapping an injector around and looking for trash in the fuel rail, and pulling the valve cover to look at the cam/valves/rockers tomorrow. Turn over by hand and look at valve openings with a borescope.

Any CDJR seen anything like this, of course everything is just “rockers, cans, lifters” with any research I’ve done.

Thanks.
