Found My Grandma's NES and Uncle's XBox!
My Grandma recently passed away, and while cleaning out her basement I found her NES and my Uncle's XBox (he passed away in 2008). Both had been in the basement that had flooded several times (luckily both had been in a tote on a shelf), so I had to clean 20 years of grime off of both of them. The XBox got a thorough board/shell cleaning and recap, and the NES also got a board/shell cleaning, as well as an OEM 72 pin connector replacement. I have so many memories playing Dr. Mario with my Grandma, and X-Men: The Official Game with my Uncle. Needless to say, I was very happy when I found them 🙂. Unfortunately, I could only find two games for the NES, and didn't find any of his XBox games. His memory card still has all of his saves on it, though, so I'll be picking up a few or modding it!
