Urgent: SD Card removed during 32GB transfer from camera to laptop — now data missing from BOTH laptop and card. Any recovery options in India?

I was copying around 32GB of client photos/videos from a camera memory card to my laptop using copy-paste.

Unfortunately, my child accidentally removed the memory card during the transfer.

Now:

  • The files are not on the laptop
  • The memory card also appears empty / missing data
  • This was important client work

I have NOT formatted the card yet and I’ve stopped using it immediately.

I’m from India and looking for:

  1. Free recovery methods/software
  2. Paid professional recovery options/services in India

Questions:

  • What should I try first?
  • Which recovery software actually works for SD cards?
  • Are there trusted recovery centers in India?
  • What are the chances of successful recovery?

I’m working on a custom web app project for a client (inventory + billing + vendor + salesman system, around ~30 pages / ~40+ APIs).

I’m honestly confused about pricing.

I understand development technically, but when it comes to:

  • how much to charge
  • how to estimate properly
  • how to adjust based on client budget

…I feel like I’m guessing.

Some specific doubts:

  • Do you calculate based on hours or per feature/module?
  • How do you avoid undercharging (or overcharging)?
  • If a client has a limited budget, how do you reduce scope without breaking the system?
  • Do you always give fixed price or hourly?

Right now I’m thinking:

  • Either charge module-wise (billing, inventory, etc.)
  • Or estimate total hours and multiply by hourly rate

But I don’t feel confident in either approach yet.

Would really appreciate how experienced devs/freelancers handle this in real projects.

Especially:
👉 Any simple framework or method you follow to calculate pricing quickly?

Thanks!

I've published a website on Hostinger. and added .htaccess:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
  RewriteEngine On
  RewriteBase /
  RewriteRule ^index\.html$ - [L]
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
  RewriteRule. /index.html [L]
</IfModule>

But still seeing 403. Even I've changed .htaccess many time from AI.

Please help me
