Are Unlocking services extinct? iPhone 17

I need to get off spectrum plan with my ex. She either loves me or she systematically unwinds my life as I know it. And we have ran out of love brother.
Last time she and i broke up when I was just naive she found out I had a job interview and where and turned my phone off and I went from being early and confident to lost late and I didn’t get the job.

I need to get on a prepaid plan does not matter where I just need a phone so I can respond about getting my daughters I’m close to getting a flip phone because I can’t find a trustworthy place.
‼️ what places nowadays do the unlocking? I heard of gray rhino but I really would like a one and done.

I tried to get a spectrum prepaid card and it rejected my phone because it belongs to another account that isn’t paid. I gave her cash for my phone and it was supposed to be paid for in cash but she financed it and pocketed the money. I’m not paying twice over understandably so.
Any help? Thank you.
