My son took 10 days of amoxicillin for a cold and ear infection. On day 10 his knees swelled up so bad he couldn’t walk. The next day his hands swelled up too and a rash started moving all over his body.
Long story short, he got diagnosed with serum sickness. They did labs, urine sample, and X-rays with no findings.
Has anyone else’s kid had this? How long before it was completely gone? We are on day 10 and the swelling is gone and rash isn’t near as bad but still comes and goes.
Dr said he can’t take penicillin family ever again

I started having upper left thigh pain and shin pain immediately when I started taking lexapro. I’m on day 6 and it has hurt everyday. Should I give it time to subside or talk to my doctor about getting off? Does anything help with the pain? When did it stop etc?

So far I’ve had mild nausea comes and goes.
Tired.

First time user. Been on 5mg for 3 days. Anyway, I like to read what things you can’t take with new medications. It seems like nsaids are a no go as well as turmeric. I have a bad back so this is discouraging for me. Is this true or is it more like don’t take them every day but occasionally is fine?

I was babysitting my best friends kid the other day and she went outside to play with my kid. During that time I went to the bathroom to relieve myself. It was to normal stuff. Nothing pedo at all. Anyway, I feel very guilty about it and keep going back to the thought of what if my best friend finds out somehow. What if the kid somehow saw me? So my pedo ocd is flaring up. Any tips or discussions? Thanks!
