Thoughts on multiple decks?

Hii
I only have one deck that I got at Barnes and Noble ( called cat tarot). I’ve had it for a good 4 or so years now but I’ve always had a conflicting feeling. I wanted to do it more consistently but it’s hard to read the deck (as a semi newbie) and honestly it makes me wish I would have gotten a traditional rider deck, but now I feel like I’d be “cheating” on my deck I have now. Haha and it’s a confusing feeling too cause I know there’s people who even collect decks which I could also see myself doing. (Nothing crazy but have my favorites)

All to say, I’d love to hear ur favorite decks, how many decks you have, and what makes u want to use one deck over the other. Also when you do your daily readings, what do u ask urself everyday?
Thanks!

Edit: thank you guys for your responses!! I’m definitely going to open myself up to a couple decks I’ve been eyeing for a few years now and continue to check out the decks you all mentioned (they’re so cool!) and i love hearing everyone’s stories and experiences, thanks again <3

Adult frog and toad book??

Just wondering if there are any books that an adult can read that’s like the frog and toad books? I’ve read shady hollow and those were pretty good and kinda similar especially in terms of talking animals.

Baby sling recommendations?

Anyone get one of those baby sling carriers that is advertised on social media? I’ve been seeing them everywhere and wondered if anyone loved/hated theirs. It’s a tempting buy, as my 6 month old loves to sit right on my hip and my shoulder is really killing me. We have a baby carrier, but honestly she’s getting too big for that and it’s hard to do things around the house with it on. Anyways, if you have one or have anything similar that you love using, I’d love to hear!

Garbology- An inspiring read

I just finished reading “garbology” which a journalist in America writes about people he talks to and their views and contributions to the world related to trash including plastic. It goes into the recent history of plastic (laws) and landfills. It’s an amazing and inspiring read. I learned a lot and I hope you are inspired to pick up the book! But I understand not everyone fancies reading especially nonfiction, so here’s a few things that this book has taught me and I hope can teach you.

the “island of plastic in the ocean” is more of an ocean soup that sits inbetween some currents that kinda mixes it like a whirlpool

Landfills are thought to “compost” our waste, uh it does not. The foods and plastics and such just sit there preserved more or less

The reason we have plastic bags so prevalent today (and why it is always such a big problem that doesn’t seem to get solved) is because of lobbyist and the big plastic companies attempting to set examples of smaller businesses trying to make a change

By the authors logic, waste to energy needs to be focused in with smaller communities (ex. City wide vs nation wide)

These are just so many things that this book taught me, seriously go to your local library and borrow a copy! I wish we could have a push in America to actually be better for the environment. So inspiring.

Hii this upcoming Father’s Day will be my husbands first! My husband doesn’t like doing too grand of plans so i thought a whole day dedicated as a cozy reading day would do but idk what kind of book to get him. I thought about getting him a random book he had listed as a “want to read” but then it doesn’t seem meaningful to Father’s Day? Does that even matter? Did anyone get their husbands/dads a book for Father’s Day? What did you get them? Thanks!
