Base of thyme after thyme, followed by high def and be kind, rewind jellies (applied roughly so that there's some color variation between blue and green in different areas).
Then lunar unicorn skin topped with milky white shimmer.
Leaf stamps applied with thyme after thyme and touch grass.
Oh geez just saw that it corrected crushed holos to some weird combination of words sorry.
Wanted to do some dark rainbow sponge gradients, my nails aren't super long so I just did three colors per nail and then kind of alternated it.

Didn't have a blue or dark yellow( Brown) crushed Holo so I used burnt Bridges and sunken secrets to fill in the gaps.

Stamped over top of it a very thin floral pattern in thyme after thyme just for texture.

I'm enjoying how it turned out, it reminds me of like dark gemstones and minerals. Particularly the one thumb (orbite me, burnt Bridges, and far from the tree gradient) makes me think of dark version of watermelon Tourmaline
I may finally get one of the darker barista collection ones now because I like how well it worked with the orbite me (I think the gradient would work better with all the same finish).
Polishes used:
Long lasting base coat
Magenta jelly
Toe beans, magenta jelly, purple slushie
sunken secrets
Cosmic unicorn skin
Sunshine crush or bottle service
Glossy Taco
Used a base of magenta jelly, did a gradient with a sponge using toe beans, magenta jelly and purple slushie (showed what my sponge pattern looked like on the later slide).
Added some extra texture by using a stamp that had some fine lined scroll work that was vaguely floral (last slide) in tow beans at the base of the nail, and sunken secrets at the free edge. Put a little sprinkle of cosmic unicorn skin near the free edge.
Then used sunshine crush and bottle service to draw the stamens/ pollen at the base of the nail. They really didn't look different enough that you would need both of them. Sunshine crush showed up a little brighter, bottle service was a little more sparkly with distinct holo sparkles so kind of would just be your preference.
Once it's fully dry I'll probably go over with another layer of glossy Taco cause she's a little chunky.
Can you tell that I like to make sure I use all my colors at some point throughout the year lol?
I made use of the technique that I saw here, of using the shavings on wet paper.
Blue Rizzler, sour note, indigo away, modest moss, zyler cat eye unmagnetized.
The effect is a bit more noticeable in person, but when the creme is only a bit darker than the holo one underneath it, it actually kind of looks 3D to me like it's punched out. (Seen here on the sour note one)
Indigo away will do this more on sunken secrets.
It seems like generally for stamping, cremes will show up on Holo, or holo will show up on creme, but sparkly on sparkly kind of blends in. If you like a really subtle effect, it can be pretty though.
Also tested stamping fifty shades of greige on indigo away, and it's kind of thin for stamping, but it made a very lovely soft sparkle over a dark color. Probably would disappear over a light color.
To recap, I work for a hospital system and they let us pick some kind of corporate gift off a website for employee appreciation, I typed in Nine Inch Nails as a joke and stuff actually came up so I selected Things Falling Apart in some unknown form.
Those of you who guessed that the " gifts" website was hooked up to Amazon somehow were correct. I got an Amazon envelope in my mail just now which momentarily really confused me because I haven't ordered anything from Amazon. I do live fairly close to an Amazon distribution center so I wonder if it's just pulling from whatever is in the local warehouse because it got here really really fast (also because it definitely didn't have every Nine Inch Nails album on there. Only like four). The initial email I received said 5 to 7 days.
Oh, it appears to be a real CD, I just don't know why it's from the Czech Republic.
For the rainbow nails:
All five retro jellies blended in kind of a splotchy way covered by one thin coat of milky white shimmer. Then crime and punishmint stamped on top with a stamping plate.
My attempt at a purplish opal nail (thumb and ring finger):
Feeling fiendish with a speckling of rose gold flake, cosmic unicorn, solar unicorn, and lunar unicorn skin. Then one thin coat milky white shimmer. Stamped with unmagnetized zyler cat eye because the gold particles were small enough to work on a stamping plate (versus some of the other gold glitters that didn't work as well).
Overall, I'm happy with how this came out. I love the retro jellies for summer, but the thin coat of milky white makes them a little more pastel for this last little bit of spring, and if I'm stamping over it, any streakiness from the white is not as obvious.

The person who gave it to me has passed away so I can't get more info other than they had also received it as a gift so I don't know where it was bought.
The number next to the hallmark is partially rubbed or polished off but looks like the remnants of maybe the corner of a seven and then a 5? I know Sterling would be 9 2 5, so the five would make sense but maybe I'm completely misinterpreting that because I can't see all of it.
No clue what this is so any ideas would be welcome. Thank you!

Wanted to play with the translucent ones. My nails are fairly stained so I started with blushed ice, then a layer of milky white shimmer on every single nail.
Then used touchtouch grass or royal tea blue to stamp different patterns on different nails. Colored them in with the old '90s - themed sparkly jellies, anti hero, be kind rewind, life in plastic, box office bomb, hi def.
On the nails that look like little fruits or onions or something I stamped the same pattern over again on some of them, still in touch grass, if the jelly had gotten thick enough to hide the detail.
On the blue nails, I put another thin layer of milky white shimmer over the jellies to tone them down, and then restamped royal tea blue pattern over the top.
If you're very familiar with your stamp, you probably could estimate where to put the jellies and just stamp once on the top, but I wanted to give myself lines to color in LOL.
Most would probably prefer one design or the other, but I always like to experiment and have a bunch of colors to look at.
