EDC 5.7 or Not

Some context. For around a decade i have carried subcompact 9mm. Roughly 2 years ago i had carpal tunnel surgery on my shooting hand. I began to notice my shooting was a bit off and decided to figure it out. Long story short due to hand size and the "less than successful" surgery, a full size pistol was needed. Since going to full size, shooting has drastically improved. Like surprisingly improved.

To the point. I have done some research into 5.7x28 (including but not limited to several yt vids by professionals) and while it is not a 9mm and probably not a suitable replacement, it does have its advantages and some over 9mm. So, does anyone carry 5.7? And why?

Top heavy concern?

This October Glory Maple (in NW Florida) has two branches (one it a lead branch i believe) and it has me concerned about it being top heavy as it continues to grows. It has been in ground for 3 years. Is my concern valid and what should I do?

October Glory top heavy

As it suggests i am concerned to the two upward branches that make this tree top heavy. Now, it only seems to be an issue when its storming, which can be often in Florida. So what to do? Do I cut both and if I cut, where do I cut? Tree has been inground for 3 years.

Heated brush suggestions

I have sifted through past threads but I'm looking for updated suggestions. I have a long beard, roughly 9inches. I have a somewhat expensive heated brush from Beard Struggle, I feel its very subpar. Does anyone have any suggestions of better options? Corded or cordless, it doesnt matter to me, thanks gents. Bonus points if its on Amazon

The must see/visit areas for families

I live roughly 3hrs away in Pensacola area. I loved going to NOLA in my younger years coming from Texas. Now with a wife and my kids (aged 5-10) we would like to know best family places. Not necessarily touristy alone, but those off the beaten paths kind of places. The best food places and why. The kinds of places you want me to judge your city by and not just the bs bourbon st kind of judgment.

Also, side question: years ago I too my wife to NOLA and we stayed across the causeway. We ate att a restaurant that served fried grits cakes with crawfish sauce. Bonus points if you can help me with finding that restaurant.

Lookin forward to your responses and visiting.

They Way of the Thong

I just recently started to wear thongs (2mo) and do so exclusively since the first day. With the support, comfort and sheer lack of chafing I was sold day one. And damn they feel great. But, gonna sound weird, but my butt crack feels irritated or rubbed a tad raw at times. Just the area by the coccyx and most notably at night, not anywhere else. Everywhere else is perfect. Is it a "it's normal until your body gets used to wearing it" kind of thing? Or is it brand, style etc? For context I live in Florida (so hot and humid), I would say I have a strong athletic build, spend most of my day outside farming/gardening and I wear Summer Code, iKingsky and Hanhepee, ) I bought Amazon since I wasn't sure if would like them and didnt want to drop a bunch of $$$ and something not easily returned). Also, are there better brands but dont cost a ton of money? I read a lot of posts but spending $40 on a sing thongs seems waaay to high. Any advice is welcomed gents, thank you.
