I’ve been running for about 3 months now, and usually every run outside i do about 3-4 miles 3-4 times a week. my first 2 mile run in january my PR was 19:40, and that was my all out 2 mile. and my PR since a few days ago is now 17:39 for 2 miles. I usually start off at an 9 min a mile pace and try and go a little faster as i get closer to the finish. what is yall 2 mile time? I’m not trying to be a marathon runner or anything, but I definitely want to improve, maybe get to at least 15.
im confused, whais my actual 1 mile pr based off this???
im not sure what the difference is, is my pr 8:45 or 8:09? and why doesnt it show both pr's for the 2 miles as well?
My previous 2 mile PR was at the end of march where i had 18:13, and then 19:39 before that in January, just clocked in my all out 2 mile today at 17:39! i also unintentionally did a 1 mile PR which makes it even cooler for me, previous 1 mile pr was 8:48 so not by much lol. all i do is run 3-4 miles around 2-3 times a week
fight takes place on the cell games arena, android 19 knows about goku but doesn't know about ssj or what happened on namek, who wins and how?
Active duty AF and have been taking only one class at a time to keep it simple and little stress for the past few months, was thinking of taking all 3 of these at once next month, would yall recommend this? Are these easy classes?
i made a post a few days ago about vandenberg and good living areas around base, but ngl I’m trying to decide between going to Travis AFB or Vandenberg SFB, and both have solid upsides and downsides IMO. I’d like to have some input from others and see what they think about ts.
Option 1: Travis AFB
Upsides
• I’d live with my parents, so I’d be saving basically all of my BAH since im not paying rent
• short commute
• I already know the area well
• I have friends nearby
• Financially the smartest option by far
Downsides
• I’ve lived in NorCal my whole life, so the area is kind of “done” for me
• Nothing new to explore or do, its actually pretty boring but its still the bay area
• Would be comfortable, but maybe too comfortable
Option 2: Vandenberg SFB
Upsides
• I’d be living alone for longer (currently in the dorms at my first base)
• Completely new area to explore
• More things to do and discover
• Chance to meet new people and make new friends
• I’ve always wanted to try living in SoCal
Downsides
• Rent for a 1 bed 1 bath seems higher than BAH
• I probably wouldn’t save much money
• I don’t know which areas around Orcutt/Lompoc/Santa Maria are actually safe (heard my best bet is vandenberg village/orcutt but havent done research YET)
Is the experience of living alone in a new SoCal area worth spending all the extra money, or is it smarter to stay at Travis, save a ton of money, and keep life simple? if it helps im a young single airman,
I’m an E4 (no dependents) getting stationed at Vandenberg SFB soon and I’m trying to figure out the best place to live off base. here are the things im tryna look for.
• safe
• clean
• quiet
• good commute
• not insanely expensive
My pay situation:
• Base pay: about 3,477 per month
• BAS: about 460 per month
• BAH (E4, no dependents): 2,397 per month
• Take home paycheck (base pay plus BAS after taxes): about 3,200 per month
I’ve been looking at three areas:
• Vandenberg Village
• Lompoc
• Santa Maria
I’d like to keep my total monthly expenses as low as possible. Ideally I’d like rent plus utilities plus gas plus food to stay under BAH, but I’m not sure if that’s realistic in this area.
If you’ve lived in SM, where would you recommend for someone who wants a safe and clean place without a crazy commute from the base (preferably like 15-20 min) and under $2k (its ok if its slightly over $2k)? Any specific complexes or neighborhoods to look at or avoid would help a lot.
Thanks in advance.
my cousins live down there in Dunedin/Tapanui, they own a farm, but I dont really speak with them due to language barriers, has anyone ever been down that south in NZ? if so, how is life there? I am curious as i plan to visit my cousins eventually.
