Toddler started refusing all liquids

We can't get our toddler to even look at a cup or bottle anymore. It's been about a week but she simply refuses. We've tried different liquids, different cups, etc but she pushes them all away. Even during meals she won't take a drink.

We've started giving her a little bit of water in a syringe at the same time we give her Panadol (she's teething) just to make sure. She's not showing obvious dehydration signs but she's certainly not getting enough.

Is it a phase?

You have a hypothetical "last" 24 hours in Sydney. You will never be in Sydney again. What's your dream day in Sydney look like?

Rules:

- you start at whatever time of day at your first location of choice, but have to take transport to all other stops.

- be specific: If you're going to a cafe I want to know what cafe and what you're ordering. If you're going to ride a ferry tell me where. If you're going to sit and look at art - what art?

- it is your one and only day in Sydney. You don't get another. Once the clock hits 24 hours you're never stepping foot in Sydney ever again.

Note: this is a hypothetical. I'm not travelling for a day or anything like that, I live here. I just want to see what everyone's perfect day in Sydney looks like to a tee. For inspiration, for feel goods, for getting over some post-travel blues!

charged for damage we didn't cause, and didn't follow own policy [guest]

We were charged for damage we didn't cause to a bed. The bed frame broke while we were sleeping on it. This is hardly something we should be responsible for - the bed frame was clearly not appropriate for its purpose and the manufacturer should be responsible.

Regardless, Airbnb have sided with the host and have charged us the full replacement costs even though the host has acknowledged the bed frame was more than 5 years old. Airbnb terms specify that the depreciated value is what is to be reimbursed. Yet when I raised this with Airbnb including on appeal and when speaking to customer support, I was told their decision was final. We've been charged the full replacement costs.

Is there anything I can do?

As an aside the resolutions team is inadvertently sent ME an email intended for the host which outlines that the host will not be reimbursed for damages. Yet I am still being charged for them. This makes absolutely no sense.

Where can I go to follow this up? Customer support said there is no one higher than them I can contact however somebody here must have an email or phone number I can call to reach someone else. This sort of thing is a blatant error and as a customer I'm expected to just accept it?

If I didn't have a young daughter I wouldn't even care but we need Airbnb or similar as we need to be able to cook and have suave for laundry. I don't want to be banned from the platform for blocking my card or charging back with my bank.

Where are we buying good quality undies and socks?

I used to just get everything underwear from Bonds, but the last few orders the products have not lasted very well - going saggy, stretching and holes around the waistband.

Can anyone recommend a good quality, comfortable brand for undies and day-to-day socks? Don't need anything special, and am not against bright colours and novelty prints - but can't believe how often I'm buying undies recently.

In London for two nights (this Monday and Tuesday). What show to see?

Hi all.

Am an avid musical and theatre fan. Have seen lots and lots over the years, and find myself in a predicament of working out what to see next week.

My shortlist is Oliver!, Les Mis but I am also open to something a bit wildcard if anyone has a dark horse suggestion.

Reasons for Oliver! - favourite as a kid, am in London (duh), think it will be nostalgic fun

Reason for Les Mis - was a favourite, haven't seen it in many many years, was mums favourite (she passed a few years ago).

But like I say open to a wildcard.

Cost not really an issue. I am happy to pay for these experiences.

I enjoy most of what I watch. Loved Hamilton, Mormon, Six and also lots of the classics including the two I've mentioned. Thought Matilda was good but a bit underwhelming (less magical than I hoped). I enjoy good theatre as well so it doesn't need to be song and dance.

Also: any good child friendly early dinner spots nearby? Am travelling with a 1 year old (who won't join me for the theatre - will be with mum!)

[AUSTRALIA] Text from someone claiming I have their phone

Have received 6 phone calls in the last 10 minutes followed by a text from the same number:

You have my phone and id like it back I've got the serial number and imie number and will be reporting it to the police if you don't contact me back

My phone is a company phone, brand new when I received it (so I know they can't be talking about my actual current phone).

I did have a phone stolen about 3 years ago while overseas - but again this was a phone I purchased new at the time.

Any thoughts? I assume they will try and get details from me if I do respond and my suspicion is - if it's not a mistake - that it relates to the old stolen phone and someone is trying to get some info to allow them to unlock it. No idea how they got the phone number but that aside - have no intention of replying. If police get involved there's nothing to tell them anyway.

But is this a common scam? I have read the list of scams and the lost phone one is similar but quite different.

You get 24 hours in your favourite city in the world - what is the city and what are you doing in that time?

Rules are the 24 hours can start whenever and wherever you want but you have precisely 24 hours before you disappear. You have to account for all transport within the city yourself (no instant travel).
