For context we live near a fairly big woodland. My friend and i built a shack here deep in said woods to sit in sometimes at night around 3 years ago. At this time we had just built it and we were sat in it just chilling really and we had an ozzy ozbourne song one (i cannot remember which one it is, probably crazy train) we were poorly trying to mimic the vocals of the song almost moaning the lyrics (not in that way) in a way where we are obviously not good at singing along to it. Anyways what i’m getting to is that nobody goes around these woods at night and dog walkers are usually gone before 9pm. Everyone in this neighbourhood is fairly old and isn’t out past a certain time except for younger people like us but not to the woods because we had a specific part we went to where nobody else did.

This is around 11pm at night and i can assure that there’s absolutely nobody that could be around at this time at least not in this part of the woods. While poorly singing this song we hear from outside this shack we built what sounds like a person with a much deeper and raspy voice mimicking the noises we are making for about 3 seconds almost making one weird groaning noise similar to us. Obviously we froze up immediately and switched the lights off sat there to see if we can hear anything. No footsteps no running away as though it was a joke. Just pure silence which felt even more weird with not even a bit of wind.

We eventually grew a pair and left the shack to investigate who could possibly be here at this time of night and there’s nothing at all. Nobody.

We kept guard and walked back exiting the forest seeing as our music debut had came to an end. We’ve had no explanation to this however, my mum was calling me a few weeks back when walking back to our house (you have to walk past the front of the woods to go up the path to our street) to tell me that she was actually quite frightened because when she was walking past she described what sounded like someone shouting from inside the woods and it felt like it was getting closer.

Me and my friends were out in a random drive and upon hearing this we immediately drove down back to where the location she described was and yet again nothing.

I questioned if it could be a fox as they scream at night and she said it wasn’t and sounded human. It was here where i remembered the situation from three years back.

I should also add that my sister who was walking through these woods as a shortcut of sorts heard this same shouting on the trail in front of her and weirded her out so much she turned back almost immediately cancelling her plans.

I seriously don’t get why this is a running theme and everytime i’m in these woods now i feel like i’m being watched.

I’ve probably worded this whole thing very badly lol but hope you can get the picture.

P.S i was told that when we first moved in there were stories about this weird middle age man who used to jump out at people in the woods for no reason at all.

But i don’t really believe that some fuckhead who i would presume is around 80 now is still causing mayhem in the woods and trying to scare people. In fact, if that was the case i think i’d be less scared and more impressed at the dedication.

Hey guys. So recently i’ve been shooting a film in a forest near me and this brought me back to something from a few years ago. Me and my friend made this shack in our local woodland area to just go sit in sometimes at night for whatever reason.

One time we were sat in there just having a laugh and we were poorly trying to imitate a song almost like moaning the song (not in that way) but you get the picture.

Anyway this is around 11 o clock at night and we are deep in these woods and i can assure that nobody goes in them around this time as our neighbourhood is more older people who are at home at an earlier time and walk dogs earlier in the day.

While doing this poor rendition of what i believe was the song “Crazy train” we hear outside the shack almost like it was right beside us what sounds like someone mimicking us and doing one big shout/moan in the same manner we were doing it to the song.

Obviously we froze up immediately and after a minute of just sitting there turning off the lights and music we get out to check out the area around us. There’s nothing there no animals to our knowledge and no people or footsteps that would indicate anybody walking away or running away for a joke. Just this one weird shouting for s moment that appeared to be mimicking or mocking us.

As i said nobody is in these woods especially deep in it at this time and we promptly got up to leave. I’ve looked into paranormal activity skinwalkers, wendigos, witches etc etc but i cannot explain this and was wondering if anyone has an explanation to this?

Also, to add to this my mum who was walking past the woodland about a few weeks ago called me while she walked back to the house cause she was hearing shouting coming from the woods. My sister has also said this has happened to her when walking through the woods causing her to go down a different path to avoid walking towards the noise.

Does anyone have an explanation for this? seems to be a common experience around my area now, at least from people i know. Thanks!

p.s I am not making anything up i’m not even sure if this is strictly paranormal but just looking for a general explanation cause i’ve been thinking about this for about 3 years now.
