Why the nerdy tech comes from HK?

My question might seem weird at first

I have bought a few computers, trying to look for a lot of performance in a small format (I have first bought the GPD WIN4, then the OneX super X) and I realised that both are coming from Hong Kong

And it is the same with other devices as well (ayaneo, retroid if I am correct, anbernic surely), so I wanted to know why it is especially hong kong. I know China is known for Temu, Wish, AliExpress, but those devices are similar to ASUS or Steam devices, and even sometimes more powerful, with a bigger battery and a better screen (steamdeck vs GPD WIN4 for example),

So I wanted to know why, or how Hong Kong became this famous for tech, especially those nerdy devices

Win max 3?

I have been waiting for a new device like the Win Mini and Max2 but with the Ryzen AI +395 (with 8060s gpu) to have a pc that will last a lifetime (I don't play really heavy games, but I wanna be sure 1080p can be played even with new games)

OneX launched one at exactly 2k USD, which is cheaper for me (thanks politics, now the dollar is less than an euro, so it's a discount for me 🤣) so, if they make the Win3, it should be placed around that price

But are there people with information, to tell me if one of those things are feasible or not?

Update changing everything

I recently did the miui update, and now everything is bright, with random colors, dynamic island that hide everything, the gallery app looks like a unicorn Claude AI, it lags...overall, I am pretty dissatisfied with it, but how to change the colors? Will they listen to the customers for once, or they prefer to copy apple?

Sorry, my message seems to be made out of anger, but I really liked the previous version, now it just looks like they wanted a rainbow iPhone (random colors, dynamic island that makes no sense, no way to disable it...) and it angers me
