I'm still working on the story. I will post it once ı write it.

One night, Noxus wakes up in the middle of the night (as shown in the previous post). He walks outside to clear his mind. Lexie wakes up too. She sees that Noxus is nowhere to be seen and starts to worry. What if he got attacked by that thing again? What if he did something to himself? She gets out and start to look for him.....after a while, she finds him sitting on a bench. She sits next to him and they finally talk to each other about his trauma. They end the night with a hug.

I am still working on the next parts.

My brain is fried by my own story god damn.

Everything was starting to become better for Noxus and Lexie. They developed their relationship further. One day while Noxus was experimenting again, the failsafe in his code activated and fused with the goo like substance he used to create something terrible. It took over him...made him attack Lexie and random drones. He couldn't do anything but watch. Lexie managed to shock the creature with enough voltage to burn it. The flames hurt the creature enough to let Noxus go. The thing ran away while Noxus was hurt mentally and Lexie was hurt physicly. The week that followed was filled with nightmares. Noxus couldn't sleep, couldn't think straight. He didn't talk to Lexie about this since he thought this would be too much for her after the attack. He was haunted by the things the creature made him do.....

He lived happy for a long time....until one day, something attacked him. He almost died. Once he repaired himself, he stayed in his safe room/lab for a bit. But suddenly, something broke in...or was it someone? A heavily modified drone walked in and drew it's blades and the fight began. After some time, Noxus managed to hit the drone with a stun gun that contained a small virus which proved to be effective against the creature. He fought for a good bit but he was eventually overpowered by the drone. In a last ditch effort, he hit the drone with a powerful virus to fry it. The drone got deactivated because of it. Noxus started to look inside the machines code to figure out what it was and.....it was her....Lexie wasn't gone. She was repurposed into a killing machine by JCJ. He continued to look into the code and saw that this was a failsafe to prevent the AI systems from going rouge. Somehow his wasn't activated though. He removed the corruptive code and reactivated her. When she woke up, she was scared and confused. Why was she here? Who was this drone? What happened to her? These were her questions which Noxus happily answered. Eventually, she recognized him...they were together again after 60 years....they got out of the bunker and made themselves a new home that resembled a human home since Lexie and Noxus liked humans unlike the other drones. They were happy for a good while. Noxus looked after his flowers, Lexie worked on her art talents. They were free to do what they wanted after so long....

Noxus and Lexie were AIs made way before the drones were a concept. They were used to destroy the corporate enemies of the JCJ from the inside. They weren't normal AIs though. They were prototypes of the drone's AI. They eventually became aware of each other and started speaking secretly (kinda like those videos of chatgpt models talking with each other) and they slowly started to develop feelings. They would continue talking and falling in love until the extinction of humans on Copper-9. The event shut their systems down and Noxus woke up after the MDs arrived on the planet. He managed to use a dead drone as a temporary body and looked for Lexie in the files but he was unable to find her. After that, he started to use scraps and body parts he found to help injured drones around. He resided in an abandoned hospital since he was seen as an abomination by the WDs. He continued fixing drones for the next 60 years and lived on by using spare parts to repair himself. He never forgot about Lexie and the absence of her continuesly hurt him but he had to go on. He eventually made himself an actual body that had custom systems and weapons. For instance, he doesn't have a core which means he can just transfer himself to another body immidietly (kinda like mcu ultron). After 60 years, he was finally welcomed in the bunker and he became a therapist and a mechanic in there. He helped troubled drones and fixed the broken ones. He had a hobby too, he was looking after a flower of rememberence he found on the planet.

She seems worried. Do you help her?

During nightime, something could be seen in the distance. It is something a normal worker drone could never see in their lives. It should not exist yet it's right there. How your character/s stumbled into this "thing" is up to you.

-It's up to you now. Do they investigate? Or do they run away from the eldritch monstrosity in front of them?-
