Thank you, Marc!
Thank you for putting these beautiful volumes out in the world! Can't wait to dive in.

Made this a while back. Hoping to paint more soon and thinking of some additional Pynchon inspiration.
Just finished Morrison volume 1 and have a question about Zurr en arrh. My initial understanding was that Hurt implanted this phrase in Batman's mind in order to shut down his Batman personality. However, it simultaneously appears to be a backup personality for Bruce when under duress. Is this a coincidence? Why is the backup personality also linked to this phrase?
I love the book Bond even more than the movie Bond and like them to inhabit separate spheres. The absence of the Benson novels is because I consider them poorly written Brosnan fan fiction. Though his books are not without flaws, Gardner at least tried to create his own world while staying reasonably faithful to the spirit of literary Bond. The gold standard of continuation novels for me, though, are the ones set in the Fleming timeline (Amis, Faulks, Boyd, and Horowitz), each of which I enjoy in some unique way.
The French do noir best. There's an effortless class and elegance to even the seediest parts of the demimonde that doesn't exist in American films. Let me know your recommendations for more like this!
