why do games not have cpu performance settings?
Pretty much any game let's you change the graphics settings to reduce strain on the gpu, but almost never do they give you many options for the cpu.
I find this weird since you can always play at a lower resolution with a gpu bottleneck but if your cpu is the bottleneck, there's nothing you can do.
I recently installed Kali linux on my T470 thinkpad from lenovo. it has a 7th gen i5. My cpu usage is very high and the gpu never appears to go over 0% usage. Any ideas?
I tried Google Pay and entering the card information directly, which both didn't work. I am using ING (dutch card). Anything I missed?
Do any of you have any ideas for me on what to do when, basically all you do is sit behind a screen all day without a reason to go outside? I have one friend, which i often play games with but I was wondering how any of you manage to find joy in going outside, and how you properly socialise without just feeling mocked?
i set it to automatically record my games in the background, this worked perfectly fine on my windows 11 install, but after i upgraded to windows 10, it stopped working (i obviously set it up again) i have more than 240 gb free on the ssd its recording to and i see no gpu encoding when i start a game.
