[d] does this sub confirm dead internet theory?

This is just a casual discussion.

I think most of the people in this sub who are still actively in the market game would check csggoskins.gg on a regular basis right?

I'm not actively in the market anymore and just update my float stall like once a month to get rid of the last about 1k€ worth of shit I still have, mostly stickers.

This post isn't relevant, It's not about my opinion and I'm not asking you guys for a reason of why I or anyone should come back. I won't.

I'm just genuinely curious. Checking any random item on csgoskins, it is easily observable that the supply of EVERY SINGLE ITEM has either tripled if not quadrupled ever since exactly 1 year ago. Some of them even multiplied by 10. Trend still going upwards with no end in sight.

I can't quite look behind whether this sub is just a full circlejerk of trolls feeding "reasons" to the brainrot people that come here with no clue to minimize their loss by getting other people to take nonsense decisions and buy shit that trolls want to sell with smaller loss.

Let's face the facts here.

Markets have been separated. China, US, EU.

Valve doesn't want third party sides and is continously pushing updates to make them more worthless or a higher risk to use.

Supply has multiplied on all platforms

Playercount is the lowest in like 2,5 years

The world is turning to shit and everyone has less money. No end to that in sight either. Quite the opposite actually.

The game gets no support and this won't change. Only reason it's alive is there's no alternative (yet).

Is there anyone here not a bot, thinking of themselves they're in their right mind, that actually expects to ever make reasonable profit with this market again? Or is everyone that is commenting "keep on doing that (talking down on the market) so I can buy" just trolling with a pathetic attempt of reverse psychology?

it's all downhill from here and that's not the market but the game as a whole. It is really beyond me, that anyone who is looking at the actual numbers is still positive about the market.

You can have hopes for the game on its own, I would still get that, but expecting the market to "recover" within a timeframe where this game won't become irrelevant anyways is nuts in my eyes.

it just all looks like this sub either contains 90% mentally ill people or is run by bots and trolls ill advising teenagers to buy into trash...

If you're on the fence of getting in, don't be a retard please. if you buy skins, do so because you want to. Don't make the morons here lure your naive brain in to bad decisions. The era is over.

[q] Weird CSFloat reversal

Yo,

sorry if the question is stupid, I have not been in the game for a longer while as I started cashing out shortly after the recover of the trade up update and just have about 1200€ left in stickers left that I'm trying to get rid of.

this week, amongst other trades, I've sold 2 x 3 astralis antwerp glitters to the same buyer. Why is this worth a post u say as it's fuckin 4€ or something? Yes that's exactly why.

This guys has a butterfly, m9 and nocts in his inventory. So either I am not aware of some loophole or I just came across a full retard that seemingly risks his float account by reversing a 4€ trade? I couldn't assume account hijacking here because whoever would hijack an acc wouldn't fuckin waste their time buying 6 antwerp glitters...

Is it in my interest to report the reversal to csfoat asap or do I just let it run out?

Thanks for your advice my friends.

Do you enjoy this format more than pics? (Civic EG6 custom)

Just wondering if reddit likes the typical pics dump threads or if I should just post these from here?

Thanks for your feedback guys.

Paging EU knowledge - The 1/64 Wheels Situation

I'd like to gather suggestions and ideas in regards to sourcing wheels in central EU (personally located in germany)

After the recent change to customs duties for small packages to EU countries, the price to performance rate on temu and aliexpress have gone to shit. Bearing wheels now start at like 12-13€, even cheap plastic wheels start at like 4-5€ which I'm simply not ready to pay anymore for low quality stuff. You can't get carlomo s-class for below 14€ anymore while I payed about 7-8€ per set like half a year ago.

I still have some supply left, but after that, unsure what to do. HPZ Toys and Monoblock charge 35$ shipping to germany. Temu's available supply has gone down massively and you mostly only find the cheap shit there that I'm just over.

Aliexpress has become too expensive. The newly released Bearing wheel series from Fansguy has gone from 5-6€ per set to over 10€ within just weeks and honestly they look shitty.

Ebay doesn't seem to have any supply beyond the standard plastic shit that literally everyone sells.

I avoid static axle wheels at all cost, but even if I wouldn't I'm not sure who tf pays 10€ for Nabe's/Chika's that come with static axles.

For all you guys out there doing more high quality customs looking for wheels that is not the fkn China 0,30€ TE37 6 spoke wheel, what is your approach now?

Do you know people from insta that sell at reasonable price where I don't have to order 50 sets to make the shipping cost worth it? Do you know any ebay sellers or other sources where I can get anything that goes beyond the full standard?

Suddenly crashing (PC) - Out of ideas

Hi everyone,

I've been playing dozens of hours of HFW up until like 3 months ago where I needed a break. Wanted to try the game again two days ago and am fighting to repair it ever since, so far, without success.

The game is basically crashing at what feels like the exact same timeperiod after launching.

So if I let the intro run and stay in the menu, it crashes in the menu, probably somewhere between 60-120 seconds.

If I skip the intro and directly load into the game I have another 50 seconds of gameplay before it crashes.

In any case, crash to desktop with bug sender opening and no specific message.

What I tried:

Different OC profiles. (It's pretty hot here atm so I figured I might turn a little too hot) even with undervolting and power limit decrease. Exact same issue.

Updated drivers

Deleted shader cache and set max 10 GB. For once I could actually have the game open for 10 minutes before it crashed

Disabled all mods

Verify game files on steam

Tried with and without reflex, dlss, frame gen

Just nothing helps.

This is the only game that is crashing on me and I did not crash once before in all my what like 100 hours.

I'm out of ideas and would gladly finish burning shores before moving on to the next game.

Anyone got any more ideas?

Specs:

RTX 5090

9800X3D

48GB DDR5

Plenty of space on each drive (only NVMes)

I had a feeling it's just too hot in my room atm and the game reacts sensitive to that but once I noticed it's even crashing in the menu on an undervolted GPU profile I'm pretty sure that's not the issue. The engine isn't even loaded here either...
