how do you make music "fast"?

hi.

i am trying to learn music production. i have made like 3 songs in lmms. but i realised that one of my main problem is that my songs dont get faster or slower.

when i say "alright now i am ready to make the drop part of the song" i just use more sounds/samples because i do not know how can i increase or decrease the speed of the song.

to the people who jumped to very hard levels way above their skill. how do you learn the level you are jumping to? (image unrelated)

i've been wondering this question because sometimes i play hard levels in practice/startpos and wonder how do people who dont have enough skill for this level to begin with learn it.
