Is the Netflix version the "improved" version of the anime?
What I mean is, I remember that the Japanese DVD release of Banana Fish was edited/improved, as often happens with anime. I don't remember all the differences, but I remember there was a scene where Dino's men are bowing to him when they apologize, but it's a very Japanese gesture, so the "improved" version has them standing there instead.
But I think Prime only ever had the original version. Is the Netflix version the "improved" version of the anime, or the original?
Hamaguchi on Player Choice in Part 3: Defining Cloud and Co's Mindsets
>—Since the side quests in FFVII Revelation will have branching outcomes based on player choices, I understand it’s an attempt to reconcile streaming culture and the user experience – by creating an experience that will change deepening on the player. > >Hamaguchi: Exactly. To begin with, the concept for FFVII Revelation is that it’s the final installment in the trilogy. So, we wanted each of the characters to have their own beliefs, resolve, and feelings as they head towards the story’s conclusion. On top of that, we felt it would be better if that emotional journey were different for each player. Kind of like, “I want my Vincent to take on this challenge with this kind of mindset,” or “I want my Cloud to take on this challenge with that kind of mindset.” We want each player to experience those feelings in their own way. > >Being a game with so many famous, iconic characters, each of whom players have different levels of emotional attachment to, it felt that homogenizing players’ feelings towards the characters wouldn’t make for a compelling gaming experience. So, we aimed for a game design where players’ choices within the game would effectively align with those feelings. > >-Source
So it seems that they are trying to reconcile thirty years of fan interpretations and attachments to characters by letting players make choices in-game that define the characters' mindsets or motivations. Interesting!
When did your period return after giving birth?
Nearly ten months PP and still nothing. Not that I'm complaining, but most people I've talked to have said it returned for them within six months!

New version of "Hollow" out, and...
Survive Said the Prophet created a little promo video for their new version of Hollow, the theme song of Remake: https://x.com/SSTPofficial/status/2074508803631128637
And I had a crazy realization. The way Aerith's white materia is shown in the promo being put into the Buster Sword, sorta invokes Rebirth's ending, right? In Rebirth's ending, Cloud has her white materia. But it's empty. In fact, you might say... it's Hollow.
Fun little "oh shit they're cooking!" moment.

Revelation: Aerith prediction
One of the coolest parts in Rebirth for Aerith gameplay is when she gains the power to absorb the Lifestream - essentially the fallen souls of the monsters she kills. She powers up with it. It's so crazy because she's doing what Sephiroth wants to do on a micro-level - absorb the spiritual energy of the dead to become a god.
I think it's more or less a given that Aerith will be playable in part 3, but may likely be solo for much of it - with possible duo interludes with Cloud and Zack. If so, Aerith may need a gimmick to compensate for the lack of party members, and why not her Lifestream power?
She'll kill monsters and absorb their spiritual energy to power up her special abilities, but "expel" it as well to send it back to the Planet rather than hoarding it like Sephiroth wants to do. Essentially, she'll have her abilities at the Temple of the Ancients.
When you realize Chapter 14 of Rebirth is a "Reverse" of Remake Chapter 8
So you probably know that "Rebirth" in katakana is リバース - which can also be read as "Reverse". This is likely a deliberate wordplay, especially considering that Revelation - リベレーション - can also be read as "Liberation."
But let's look at Cloud and Aerith's dream date in the final chapter of Rebirth, because there's something pretty cool: it's a "reverse" of Chapter 8 of Remake.
In Remake:
Cloud falls into Aerith's flowerbed.
Aerith gives Cloud a materia he dropped, and indicates to him her White Materia. They leave the church.
They hang out in Sector 5 slums on the "date" that Aerith promises Cloud. The instrumental of the theme song Hollow plays in the background.
They end up at Aerith's house and sleep.
In Rebirth:
They start at Aerith's house and wake up.
They hang out in Sector 5 slums on a date. The instrumental of the theme song No Promises To Keep plays in the background.
They go to the church and Aerith gives Cloud a materia - Holy.
Cloud falls through Aerith's flowerbed.
Because we're talking about "Omni-Aerith", if you will, in both these cases - especially in Chapter 14 of Rebirth - it's hard not to think that this was intentional and significant. If Sephiroth is trying to "rebirth" something, indicated by his final form in the game, is omni-Aerith trying to "reverse" something?
