What's the best way to get rich?

What's the best way to get rich?

Wanna get this, but the amount of gold is kinda... wow... Of all champions probably Cyclops can get so much money, if GoGo cards allow him get the rich ticket. Or is there any way? By the way, buying and selling heroes in shop counts as getting money? You know, like, Cashback xD

What's your favorite mode?

So we have:

-Casual

-Ranked

-Arena

-Tag battle

In the previous season we also had Gold rush and Auction.

Ranked played the most I guess, since it's points, rank, rewards and all that staff. Personally, I liked the Auction and Arena. Fast games, not fatal if you have a disconnection, Arena also allows you power spyke what you cannot usually do in the ranked.

But also I'd like to try a tag battle. But sadly it's waiting time is too long and my connection at work is fragile, so it's only late night possible, when I get home.

Would be awesome to have some chaos mode, where power goes to extreme measures. Like imagine everyone fighting having ultra synergies or board full of 3 stars or maybe even more mindbreaking - 2 ultra synergies (like, you can farm dozens of magic crystals during the game). Maximum chaos and damage. But that's just fantasies.

What about you guys? Do you have a favorite?

I dunno if someone noticed, but new random crystal have boosted Lunox.

In last season, either I didn't get it or made something wrong, but Lunox couldn't use her ability to champion with the blessing. They didn't picked as a target.

But now, it's like a crystal, so Lunox can actually put it on on them. You just pick synergy you don't like with crystal and throw her ability to get synergy you want. And later you use second crystal for the same synergy on the next champ.

Before it was absolutely random, she could use her blessing randomly on a role or faction, but with crystals it can be directed. No more random shit. Yay!

Why tag battle and gold rush are so underated? And where's the auction?

Gold rush and tag battle is too damn long to wait. No one plays it. Are they so bad or boring?

And auction. I knew there was gonna be reset, but why was it also switched off? I kinda liked it. Fast games, easy to have a quick break at work...

I have to apologize to mistbender - I'm sorry, I wasn't right.

Before I thought, what the hell? Farm points to get useless rewards mostly... Oh, god, the depth of my mistakes....

Defender mistbenders are so damn good. Fanny with 6 defenders stacking mistbenders to the brim is a casino that went nuts. You get Nana and all you can hear is the sound of a slot machine.

Click, click, click. Every round about 80 points, oh boy.

And the random 4 gold champ? I thought "it's random, why should I care?". But in reality? 4 gold hero is a 4 GOLD hero. Meaning, more money. 4 gold for 30 points. That's additional bonus for the exp farming.

Tons of enhanced equipment and mirror devices.

Sadly only one Nana and magic crystal bundle.

By the time the game ends, you can have 3 star Nana, 25%+ stats for HP and attack, small mountain of enhanced equipment.

And Buxia rolling on the background with Limp Bizkit playlist

How does magic crystal of choice works?

Usually, when you put it on hero, the first two synergies are his role and faction, but for mistbenders... only roles. Once I saw how someone managed to find a mistbender in that crystal, so it is possible.

But why are there such thin chances?

A little bit more rant for the auction, AURGH!!!

First of all, why in the world revealing information strikes two times in same direction? I mean, if public information already revealed all the information about item, why the next turn it shows us a type of the item we already know about? I understand when hero reveal falls down on public info, that's understandable and balanced, but when it conflicting within public or hero sector, that's just plain stupid. It should prioritize the unknown blocks, but only within hero or public. If public reveal the info, hero reveal still can drop on the same block, but if public reveal the info, it should never touch it again, unless it's new info about the block.

Second, why are figurine chances so low? For the past three days I haven't even encountered one in the lobby. Or is it just me being unlucky? Highest drop auction, and not a single. Not even a blue one. Give it at least a 0.5% chance to be present boost.

Third, I still hate people. Not a single piece of info revealed and they go 2kk in. Stop wasting your virtual money, dammit!!!! Give me a fair contest!!!

I wanna do my own modlist for myself only, but lack in experience

Mod packs I used are either overextended with the quantity of mods, half of which I either don't use or care about. Also some of them create such a big pressure on OS, it crashes all the time.

So, I wanna create my own. Like a decent man, I have to grow a tree, build a house and create my own Skyrim. Anyway....

In some mod packs I've noticed that they never go alone. What I mean, if it's a bodychanger, it's like ten of them in the mod organizer. Since I get a pack and not the mods, to me they look the same and they usually are named like the same. Body slide, faster hdt-smp, smp-nrc crash fix, new gentleman, xp32 maximum skeleton and so on. Sounds like a spell to me.

So my question is, is it ok to install one mod or is it better to have a group of them? If the group is ok, how to be sure that not conflicting and ruin the game?

What's the strongest combo you know in-game?

Wanna try something new. Usually I just play through stargazers. Main heroes are Fanny, Kalea, Gusion. I like Angela, Lancelot, Zhi Long and Ruby, but I don't know how to play with them.

I would appreciate some refreshments for my everyday routine with new builds.

So far I played the auction, this is how I see tier list of heroes.

Alice - is kinda a joke. First round is weaker Lunox, after that we see the best item quality in game. But when you play in the third auction and higher, it's obvious that the red item is gonna be there. She can be good for starters, when you play on low auctions and to see red light might be good (although, they can be crappy). Otherwise, she lacks in everything.

Harley - same as Alice, although a bit more accurate. A bit. It shows you summary of purple, gold and red items in auction and nothing else. On one hand, it's good to know how many high quality items are here. On the other hand - we don't know proportions. And he does nothing else. But with some recon and mathematics, you can deduce how many items are there, so it's not that bad.

Angela - she's weird. She reveals item type, but doesn't work with auction items and figurines. She can narrow down the price of the auction, but not very accurately, she works only with types. For that she's good for looking at the items you are missing.

Johnson - kinda same as Harley, but from the other side. While Harley see the count of high quality items, Johnson reveal the low quality items. So by the looking at the missing pieces on board, you can try and deduce what might be there. But still, it's a gamble and not very accurate. Items help though.

Lancelot - Russian roulette ability. It shows a lot, but it might not show you the most juicy part of the auction. So... Yeah, Russian roulette.

Minotaur - size usually does not really matter in auction, unless you are looking for something specific. I heard some players use him for looking for figurines, well, it might work with items. You see the possible location, shoot the item and know for sure. Expensive, but works. Aside from that, he gives a lot of info, so it's not so bad on its own.

Aurora - queen of afk and scam strategies. She can raise the price and stale it until round five, where she sees what she got and either grab the bank or toss you in the wolf pit. But, yeah, very slow. Others might find what they want sooner and grab the bank sooner she predicts.

Lunox - Russian roulette part 2 but with more quality shots. Same as Aurora, she can scam the auction to the sky. And it's hard to tell untill the end - was she drunk or actually saw something good.

Vale - slow version of Johnson, but with purple in the bag. So it's also a bit Harley too. Size and quality, all he need is a type and a bit of time. Perhaps the best recon in the game. Almost.

Chou - my personal favorite. He's a bit of everything. He reveal 4 items round by round, easily narrowing the decision to grab the bank or fall back. With public info and some items he can be ultimate recon. Without - he's still one of the best recon. (Please don't nerf him).

Layla - jack in the box. One precision reveal and she can go all out in the blink of an eye. Otherwise, she's usually really quite and stays in the bottom. Real sniper. Quite or deadly.

Wanwan - my second personal best. Her second passive is so good, although I admit it can fail at times. When two of three info revealed, she get the third for free. Size, quality or type. This really helps to do precision search. You know what item you're looking for, it's size and quality - she helps you narrow it down. Good girl.

That's how I see it. Share your vision, maybe I lack of your wisdom and don't know all the features or tricks. Thank you.

So, I played a bit at auction and that's what I wanna tell you about it.

Complicated, but not why it should be.

You see, trades are always mind gaming and it's alluring. It's a gamble, high stakes with possible failure.

Problem is - people are stupid. And the more money they have, the dumber they are.

First two auctions are the best, there's a risk, you can fail and lose profit, you can be bolder and get your reward, you can guile people into spending more money and get the compensation. True auction experience.

But starting from the third auction..... That's a rich world of drunken people who gives a sh** about profit or anything. Who cares about how much money you lose if you get the shiny? They see red light and skyrocket the bid outside any common sense or logic. They waste 500k? Who cares? He got the shiny. One time, dude spend 1200k to get 250k profit. Like, what the hell?

Upper auction is a hell parade of people who just enjoy their excessive mounts of money. No fun or profit for other people. In second auction you can win the bid and get 300k+ profit pretty much regularly. But in upper district, only the compensation of the actions of some rich dumb**s, which is roughly compensate your entry fee.

And funny thing is - there's nothing anyone can do about it. Like, it's their money, they earned that one way or another, so they can do whatever they want with them. Like in real life. Any limitations would just ruin the fun.

So......

This post is just my soul screaming. You filthy rich bastards! Let me enjoy the higher auction too! I want to enjoy a rich life too!

;_;

Two in a row. I guess I spend my luck for the next five years...

The first one was Pharsa in the first round. Just put a bid and others put it very low. Kagura was second in the second round, I just saw two golden and the bid wasn't very high, so I took a chance.

Absolute cinema.

Is there any site or YT channel with tips, strategies and tactics?

For the most part of the time I was looking through the information, most of this information is in the bubble. People playing through the game without explanation, as it's natural, like breathing air. And looking at my opponents in ranked through replay looks like the casino decided to toss some cards at them.

How do they get three stars on the second roll? Why do they buy all the shop, just to sell them a couple rounds later?

And that strategy with massive income - NeoScavenger. At the top ranked mostly everyone uses that. Lower ranked - just a few. And here's the thing - at low ranked, if you go that strategy - you get 300 mostly around when you are almost dead, because people are gathering heavy guns without caring for money. Neo and scavs are so weak on their own in early game, it's painful to watch. And yet, on high ranked when you watch YouTube, it looks like something natural and easy time. It's mindbreaking for me and I don't understand this at all. Why it's working, but not?

And I guess there are many more strategies and tricks I still don't know or I saw, but never understood what I saw.

Said she protects, but she's not...

Before she put a shield on the characters, that was protection. But now, she gives a boost and mana Regen. I'd say it's not protection, but empowering or... boosting.

Smoking hot, I know, but still....

What's the best build for the newbie to get for high tier maps?

I have 900 hours in poe, but I'm a newbie. For all that time only twice I managed to beat the company (scion with creeping frost and DoT and witch with summons) and only tier 5-7 is my maximum.

You guessed it right - I'm a noob and don't understand this game at all. Usually I look for some unique items, look at their effect, if it's fun - I'm trying to build it and it's fun... until act 5 or so.

And you guessed it right again, I saw low level content through and through. But high tier content and items? Never in my life. End game bosses, mirrors, ultimatum, delirium - it's like a unicorn to me - heard, but never seen.

So.... are there any builds to help get there? I know there are guides, but I'm casual through blood and bones. When I read those guides, it's like they are talking on foreign language. Appreciation for the help in advance.

How to play as Defenders or Protectors?

Every time I try to get 6 link it goes down in hell. I begin to believe that protection means nothing in this game unless it is built in thousands.

How to play it? What should I combo it with? What champions?

reddit.com
u/Haihosen — 2 months ago

Why the difference in balance so awkward?

On one hand we have Chou, who have only +2/+3 gold per round or Lancelot who spend gold for exp. There's also Guinevere or Vale with huge random. And we have Lucas, Alice, Fanny or Gusion who turn this game into warfare. Why's that? The difference so big, I can't take some champions because I feel that difference will put me in bad corner.

There's a challenge to make three 6 links

One question - how? Even if you play as Vex or Gusion, if you are lucky with GoGo cards, if auction is in your favor, it's kinda impossible. What should a player do, to make three 6 links?
