Scandinavians- Do You Eat Lutefisk?

This was a Christmas family tradition when I was a child (US, Minnesota). My Norwegian grandmother would arrange a shipment of this vile stuff without fail.

As far as I know, my ancestors stopped preserving food in this way once refrigeration became available. I’m wondering if anyone still eats this.

We’re thinking about Gen Z wrong….

I’m a farm kid who’s been lucky enough to be able to really achieve the American Dream… humble beginnings, military, college on the GI Bill, hired right away in a big company, rose through the ranks and now I’m hiring.

We’ve brought in a few zoomers and I gotta tell ya, I do not see what everyone is complaining about. These folks are bright, creative and hard-working.

They need some guidance like any young person ever did. What they’re asking for is not unreasonable. They want work-life balance and with me they get it. I want that too. In return, they perform, and the team puts up better numbers than any other in the whole company.

Listen to what they’re saying. You might find that they’re an asset, and not a burden.
