Just wanted to share! Got these binding post screws at my local hardware store and lowes to do some simple "speed hooks" on my texarado bailey boots because I have a high arch and it was frustrating having to almost completely unlace half the boot to get them off Everytime. This 3/8" size fits perfectly inside the eyelets. they're roughly between $1 and $1.25. I'd say they aren't quite as fast as speed hooks to lace up, there's a little bit less of a lip than a traditional hook, but they're still pretty quick to lace, hold well, MUCH faster to unlace and get off, and they're removable if I want to go back to full laces. I don't think they look half bad either. If you wanted to shop around on the internet I'm sure you could find them in different finishes too.

Edit: I think this picture makes these boots look much goofier than they actually are lol, I was trying to show off the hardware, not the boots. I posted a more normal photo in the thread
