suitable wood for lure making?

I have only linden/basswood sticks at home and i want to make little trout or chub crankbaits from it i already made small swimbait last year idk what wood i used it sadly dosent work but i think it looks good for my first ever lure. Also can you guys please give me tips for making ultralight lures.

turns out my Girl isnt actually a girl😅😭if you look at the start of its tail. also its colors are popping more and more. jm so happy i have the opportunity to own this beautiful little creature 🦎❤️

i highk want to buy some swim/glide bait for ultra light it looks so fun to fish but idk what to choose or what are the others lures similar to this one. i want to make one in the offseason by my self from wood but i would love to buy one or two also.

what should i fish on sea from shore?

im going on a lil trip to poland for 4 days we will be in city with sea and harbour in it. i never fished in sea and i want to try ultralight from shore. what baits should i use?

had the most fish in one run

yesterday i walked like 300m total and had almost 30 fish on topwater everything chub, asp and one big barbell fell off💔. biggest fish i got was 40cm i haven’t took pic cuz it run of before i could take the pic.
