Friend almost at Immortal. Will a duo help or no?

I know I quit and people think I lied when I say my friends also play, but I will only come back to help him reach immortal and then delete the app

My friends literally feel the same way I do and we all teamed up before

Players on the MLBB subreddit and here project heavily, but how is it everyone is saying the same thing but then "You're just mad you're losing"

I kid you not before this game I've never experienced this and my friends never complained this much about a game

My friends were suffering last night

Yeah, I quit the game and deleted the app. My friends were in a voice call and I hopped in. They were playing MLBB and they were getting frustrated.

We had our conversation about the game. We talked about the fact we're in a burst META and that tanks are pretty much not what they used to be. One friend said they missed the tank META. We talked about EXP/Fighters in Gold Lane at higher ranks

I was saying the fact MLBB has all of this going on is because the game is poorly designed. I was saying MLBB needs more items and their lack of items makes the game less interesting, engaging and hurts the RTS aspect.

I said the ranked mode is trash because rank doesn't actually reflect skill and that you can't blame players who may not be that good relative to rank for being there because MLBB didn't design the mode to have ranks correspond with skill. Players at the end of the day some of them are just trying their best and being mad at them for what is essentially the game's/company's fault isn't exactly fair to them.

I believe many players are shills for this game and refuse to hold the company accountable for delivering an extremely frustrating gaming experience. They justify alot of bad things from this game and company as if the players are wrong for not "adapting".

Like Leomord able to fight multiple players willy nilly? And players are foreign to the concept of balance. They think you're mad Clint is better than Hanabi early game when that is actually fine and is good for the game

It's just burst heroes should be countered by bulk/tanks. That's literally peeling.

People say support heroes sucks, but that's not accurate. They're just unsupported. They have barely any items for supports. Other MOBAS do but MLBB has like 1 item for them. Players attacking players for playing support is really crazy. You guys deny an entire playstyle and particular team comps because it's not META. Again, MLBB is just trash.

Their game isn't fun and that's what video games are made for

I'm done

I have a choice and many of you always posting how you're done

No, quit

I'm quitting. I'm not fooling myself anymore. This game is unhealthy and a waste of your life.

I have lost so many games where we destroy every enemy turret and all our turrets are still up

It happens ALOT. Usually my lane is untouched and has all towers up. I will have pushed the enemy towers. Enemy has almost every tower gone, we get lord multiple times, we have more gold

Then suddenly we lose. Look, I just feel if the opposing team was in my shoes they snowball and win, so why are my teams struggling to finish? It happens so often that when I see team can not finish/push I already know the game will go over 20 minutes and we'll lose eventually

Instead of trying to realize why this happened team throws KDA. Like, bro? We have more kills, more gold, and a headstart in EXP. TF DOES KDA DO!? Your KILLS MEAN NOTHING!

This is why I don't want to play Tank. Don't get me wrong I don't hate playing tank. It's easy for me to play Tank, but people who play DPS can't actually do anything. It's not even a desire to get a Maniac or anything. It's more usually we either lack a frontline to initiate the final push or DPS to push through enemy defenses

If I pick DPS, no one frontlines. If I frontline the DPS is just there.

Marksman realize that you are the most consistent source of damage.

Players complain so much in this game

Like every game it's looking for someone to blame and harass.

They swear the reason they're losing is because of one minor thing someone is doing. I feel players do this to take blame off themselves. Also? How does this help? Harassing your teammate would just put more pressure on them

By the way, not every teammate is feeding. Not every teammate is playing reckless.

Something I just wanted to post. I know a girl who quit the game because she was new and chat kept advocating for her to get reported. She was in Epic by the way.

The hostility drives people away from the game. Imagine getting on to deal with people who start harassment campaigns looking for a scapegoat to absolve themselves mentally from a loss.

Players do not take responsibility at all for their performance it's always everyone else fault, but them? No, they're playing perfectly and would win if they had better teammates. Just weird.

I remember I chat to enemy team that my team is fighting each other then my team attacked me but enemy team started defending me and ACKNOWLEDGED they were trying to shut me down the whole game and that my teammates weren't threats to them.
I told them though that they're just the better team and GG's and just took my loss. It's just a game at the end of the day.

No wonder people avoid jungle. No one plays it but people are quick to attack the player who plays it

Koality when designing Hoop Land never based it around Shot Timing. Koality added shot timing because people asked for it, but the game was based around player percentage (%) because Koality wanted to encourage smart shot selection and strategic play.

If you play with Shot Timing you literally can shoot 3's with Centers who have a low 3 point rating. There is no thought to it. If you're playing on the easiest difficulty and you're new to get familiar with the game that's perfectly fine. Just don't complain the game is easy playing on the easiest difficulty like that's how it was designed to be. Imagine complaining the easy mode is easy like bro? That's the point?

It's also very problematic because if you're telling Koality the game is too easy they're probably assuming you're playing on All Star or something. Imagine saying shooting is too easy and Koality makes shooting impossible because a guy who played on custom sliders made shooting easy.

I personally think a 10 in anything is supposed to be excellent in this game, but people are asking for the highest ratings to be nerfed. That makes no sense in game design. Max Attributes = Legendary that's why it's so powerful.

What the game needs is a Defensive Equivalent. A perimeter defender that reduces the effectiveness of the scorer and can address the offensive moves that seem unstoppable. Not exactly counter because they should be meant to counter each other or interact with each other in a way. To deal with a Defensive Superstar you need an offensive superstar and vice versa. For example, a perimeter defensive superstar wouldn't be effective against a dominant Big Man who is unstoppable in the paint, but is more effective against a Guard who likes to dribble, crossover and shoot. Also, we should introduce some balance to it.

We can use Guards-Forwards-Center as a starting point and add variation and depth using height, weight, which also correlates with speed and strength.

It doesn't have to be a 1:1 as we may have stocky (big but short) guards while we may have undersized Centers who are more quick. The listed position should provide an effectiveness mechanic/synergy. Ok, here is what I mean by that.

An undersized center is more effective at playing Center than they would be playing PF. Now, the game SHOULD allow you to play Center at PF despite the listed position, BUT the player should be less effective playing out of position. This DOESN'T mean the player will be bad or play poorly, but that their effectiveness is affected by playing out of position. The game should allow the player to change a player's position through some sort of camp or process.

Now, adding to this let's say a Forward which are in between Guards and Centers should have effectiveness guarding Forwards but don't lose effectiveness guarding Guards nor lose effectiveness guarding Centers. This isn't me saying they have a boost in guarding Guards and Centers but more that there isn't a debuff. Now, we have to address Power Forward, Small Forward, FC and G/F and that's why I won't say this idea is all the way thought out as this is me brainstorming. If Koality likes the idea but adds his spin on it and makes some changes that would fit better than I would support it.

An undersized Center trades height meaning lowering their chance of blocking for more speed or something (if they're correlated). You want this nuance in the game it makes everything interesting, adds depth and introduces nuance. Players can't run 5 guard line ups for no reason because match ups would start to matter more as well.

This is me trying to provide nuance, depth and balance, so players wouldn't just create a Center who could guard the perimeter.

The game needs Perimeter Defensive Superstars. Not only does this need to be implemented in some way, but the Ai needs more depth. Coaches as a features provides the foundation for this as they already have tendencies but to go further coaches should have preferences or tendencies to prefer a certain type of player at certain positions. For example, maybe the coach wants their PG to be a ball handler preferring dribbling and passing over defense and scoring or even slashing. Maybe have 3 attribute preferences. Each coach having their own preference or maybe they prefer a player to be more all around. Maybe they want a player to be atleast a certain height and weight or be atleast pretty fast or strong. Now, these preferences aren't the end all be all but should influence line ups. Ofcourse this can be overridden by a player who is a superstar so they just start that player. Also, the coaches maybe could account for player morale/value aswell.

Their utilization of the bench to what they expect from their bench. Also, their tendency to put certain defensive assignment on certain players. For example, teams should sign defensive specialists for the sake of providing defense. This means the team subs in a F with the intention of putting a defensive assignment on the SG. This will genuinely surprise the player if implemented because they would have to adapt their way of playing to account for the shift in gameplan by the opponent.

I read that "Sharpshooters/Shot Creators are the META" simply due to the lack of Perimeter Defensive Equivalent. Implementing features to ensure this would provide a reasonable counter to that archetype and add value to defense without harming the value of offense. You want 10 Level 3 Point, Mid Range and Short Range shooting to be powerful considering they're the max/highest attribute. What sense does it make to make players work for that to nerf it?

A random idea is maybe increase the defensive/shot pressure range of the defensive superstar. Allow them to cover more space than the average player to emphasize how much better/effective they are at defense.

It has been a year since the last one, but now this time the challenge is to beat the Los Angeles Stars led by Polan Stronk in a Best of 4 series playing under All Star difficult. Meaning NO SHOT TIMING! This is strictly Player % and NO USING JSON! You are to win with the current iteration of the player.

Post your results and most importantly have fun.

People tell you the game is too easy, but I think the shots relative to attributes it all makes sense. Lay ups aren't as easy as they were when Career Mode came out, so if someone is making all their shots from layups then it must be a skill factor.

Koality, what you should focus on is the Ai. The CPU should make line up adjustments that make sense. Double Teams, High Pressure or even the inclusion of Zone Defense. A PG should be given the matchup of defending the SG or even the SF. You should experiment with that. Also, teams should allow other positions who have ball handling responsibilities other than PG bring the ball up.

I think people want you to make shooting shots impossible, but all that is actually fine. What is really making the game feel easy is Ai behavior and their lack of reaction/adjustment to Player behavior.

I believe the game has been better with this overtime. I have personally noticed things.

Also, if players with good teams are destroying weaker ones on the best difficulty or scoring on bad defensive teams something like that then that doesn't indicate the game is easy

You should be doing that to teams like that

My league for my player feels more challenging because of the players I added from role players to potential superstars, so you have to adapt

I don't play the same way every game and I even check the match up on both offense and defense. If my opponent is a elite defensive player or the opposing team is elite defensively I do not pass the ball as much because they will steal it. I also create space on lay ups or draw defenders away from me by using plays

I'm just saying is the game easy or do the players in your league suck

Or do you stack the odds in your favor like do you create players/teams legit have an advantage to easily win?

Is that the game being easy when ofcourse it should be with an OP Player/Team?
