11-week-old cries more than ever and now only soothes with mom
Hello
My 11 week old daughter has always been difficult, lots of crying, has never been able to sleep alone in her crib. We do 100% cosleeping and contact sleeping since the day she was born. Any transfer attempt results in failure so we just give up even though we try again from time to time.
We've went to pediatrician a couple times and she told us everything is completely normal and she's perfectly healthy.
As of a week ago she's been crying all the time, she has short happy periods of 10 minutes, and then cries. She takes maybe 3 to 4 naps of 30 minutes during the day, impossible to get her to sleep more. Putting her to sleep requires walking around with her for 45 minutes and she will always cry before she eventually passes out.
On top of all of this since last week she goes full cry mode with anyone but her mom, which makes it now impossible for my girlfriend to catch up on her sleep, as she breastfeeds during the night. I can't take over the night shifts anymore because she just cries in my arms all the time till I hand her over again.
Did anyone have a similar experience? And tricks? Any idea when this phase will pass? I have the feeling it only gets harder and harder every week.
Cheers
