I know this scene was played for laughs, but it actually was a good idea. You have a problem right now? The simple solution would be to ask the people who come from a future where that problem has already been solved.

Just a shame that the Rule of Drama dictates that nothing can ever be that easy.

Meliodas was cursed for 3,000 years, and had to watch the woman he loved die 106 times to the point where it drove him to insanity.

During that time, his little brother hated him, his best friend tried to kill him and he himself died several times.

But, he finally broke the curse, made a happy life with his wife and son—only to find out that 3,000 of suffering only buys you less than 20 years of peace before the world goes to sh** again.

>!Because his son disappeared for two years with amnesia. Then, once they were reunited, his wife went into a coma that she likely won’t wake up from. His best friend is most certainly going to die. And, as if that wasn’t enough, he‘s going to be separated from his son and future grandson for all eternity.!<

This trauma conga line is never-ending …

I guess it’s tradition.

I love all of Aida-sama gorgeous artwork, but I’m also biased.

Sooo Lance is going to be a big brother.

I’m honestly pretty interested (because in the legends he had a half-brother called Hector). Though this would mean a long timeskip because it would be at least 10-12 years before “Hypothetical Hector” would be old enough to do anything.

Will he blame his brother for their father’s death? That would be intriguing!

It’s also insanely ironic for me in particular, because I’m doing a 4KotA canon rewrite, and I was just discussing with a friend last week over whether or not I might give Lancelot a younger sibling. I eventually decided against it—but now I might have to go back and give that some more consideration 😅.

The elevator scene (which I might add is one my favorites moments ever—Hanako being jealous is just too good).

In the manga, he only puts two fingers over Nene’s lips—while he puts his whole hand over Akane’s mouth. It was a tiny detail, but I loved how it showed Hanako was pushing Akane away, but only gently easing Nene back. Even then, he was being careful with his girl.

The anime kind of ruined it by having him use his whole hand for both of them.

Not a huge thing, and most people probably didn’t even notice, but I did …

The last chapter reminded me of why I love this little munchkin so much 🥺

Not only does Yasÿe not know who is own grandfather is, but once he learns it’s Meliodas, he has the devastated “oh sh**” face.

So, looks like Tristan, Meliodas and probably Elizabeth are all dead in the future.

Let’s hold out hope that Isolde’s alive—but she’s likely dead as well, leaving Yasÿe an orphan like his legend counterpart.

Can we move this along? I’m all out of time cards.

He’s already lost his oldest friend—and now he’s about to find out that his mom is almost dead and his dad wishes that he was dead.

Also, Yasÿe still hasn’t told him that he’s going to die in the future as well!

Suzuki-sama’s agenda of making Meliodas suffer has officially been passed onto Tristan.

I actually have no idea if it’s going to be 3 days or 6 days at this point—but I’m not starting my countdown over again, so let’s just roll with it! ✌️
