Greatest guitarist of all time...?

Greatest guitarist of all time...?

Soo this is a common discussion among my friends and I, and ultimately I guess this question comes down to 3 options- (Just my opinion of course, don't come for me pls lol)

  1. Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin)
  2. Stevie Ray Vaughan
  3. Jimi Hendrix

I LOVE All 3 in honesty, each has their own strengths and unique qualities-

I think Hendrix was a true pioneer and had such a fresh approach to guitar playing for his time- I sometimes feel like he was a master of enthralling simplicity, and that in itself is an art! But I feel like his untimely death leaves us feeling like there was so much more he could've moved on to do, but didn’t get round to it!

However, when we move on to Page and Vaughan, I find the decision so much harder to make.

For me, Stevie Ray Vaughan had so much charisma, and his personality really comes through in his music. His abilities within blues and that old school rock and roll style are just outstanding, and I think his music has such a wholesome, feel good vibe!

But, In my opinion- Jimmy Page has to take the top spot!

What a guy!! I just find myself mesmerised every time I hear a zeppelin track, or watch one of their live performances! It's honestly like he's casting spells with every strum... The guitar work in Led Zeppelin is just like nothing ever produced before, or after (again, in my humble little opinion)... and when he used the cello bow to play the guitar in their live performance of Dazed and Confused, It is literal sorcery!! - I'll link one of these performances below- Enjoy!!

But those are just my humble thoughts- hit me with you opinions guys! I can take them, don’t worry! ;)

Also would love to hear any suggestions of other artists who in your opinion deserve consideration in this debate?

Many thanks for taking the time to read!! :) Peace and Love!

Always in a House On Fire

When I was in college,
we read a book
called Once in a House on Fire.

That book was my life,
once upon a time,
and has remained so ever after.

See, that title says, "Once."
But I've learned that's not true.

Through her,
she keeps striking the match anew.

My mother;
she burns
in a house on fire,
every day until I smother.

I can't escape the smell of burning.

She says the world could die,
but hers will keep on turning.

Larger than life,
"her own hero,"
her raging bonfire remains my foe.

So tell me why that title said, "Once"?

Because it gave me hope
there was something afterwards.

But I've learned that as long as my mother breathes,
she will cause flames and smoulder
wherever she pleases.

And if I leave that house
and go somewhere of my own,

that smell of smoke
is still in my bones.

And no matter how hard I try,
I know I'll never
outrun her fire altogether.

I think I'll rename that book
to suit the truth.

Get in touch with the author
to offer a spoof.

Always in a House on Fire
will be my life,
until she retires.

Help please!! Serial accidental house plant killer in crisis!

Hi all, Im really hoping i'm in the right place... I really love plants, and the idea of having a home full of them makes me really happy! Unfortunately I have not been blessed with naturally green fingers, and tend to end up killing every plant I get (cry)... Completely accidentally! Can you please help me to find some species which are SUPER easy to care for, and give me some tips on how to care for them! It would be much appreciated! P.S... I live in the Uk and its either constantly raining or its 25 degrees for a week at the moment! ( no in-between) Thanks in advance! Yours Sincerely, A wannabe Houseplant fairy kinda girl
