After lots of digging, I've finally finished the moat & outer walls on a fort at the spawn. Will probably use it to start a new playthrough and see if I can finish the game before the Deep North expansion hits. It's a safe haven with lots of friendly skeletons, Dverger, wolves, asksvin and ballistae guarding it.

Fortunately it's pretty close to the water (and a coastal Eikthyr spawn), so my new character can start building a harbour once Eikthyr is taken care of.

Hey all. This fort around the spawn nearly has all the basic structures complete. After that I just need to decorate and add details. But now I'm unsure whether I should add a moat and/or an earth wall for defending it against raids. Any thoughts?

Just finished my floorplan, and I realised how different my building process is now compared to when I first started.
