Hello everyone. I started collecting Bridgesii especially those with Monstrose growth.

Now Iam wondering what fertilizerers I should get.

I have heard that bridgesii can do well with a little higher Nitrogen than most other Tricho.

I know that The Masterblend 4-18-38 ist often recommended but it is really pricey where I live.

Plus isn't the Nitrogen a bit too low on this one ?

It's a bit harder for me to find something with good Micronutrients in it, that isn't Masterblend.

many products don't seem to list them at all.

Please feel free to tell which fertilizer are you using and why. Iam very excited to hear your feeding approache.

I use liquid Calmag for calcium but I've heard many people swear on gypsum, so I think I'll try that as well.

Hello all together, I recently started collecting cacti especially Bridgesii with monstrose growth.

Iam using a soil mix of 50% Organic 50% inorganic.

I was using Liquid nutrients for blooming plants due to the right NPK ratios. But now I want to get myself a nice fertilizer for cacti. The NPK ratios that are good are easy to find, what iam struggling with is to figure out which Micro nutrients are needed.

Also it looks like many brands (especially if sold on amazone) just don't print the Micronutrients On their bottles.

What would you guys recommend, what are you using on your plants ? Being it bridgesii or any other Tricho. And why are you using this product ?

I let my plants grow during winter indoors with supplemented light. So I don't really want to piss on them. During peak summer it's maybe ok.

but I don't want my home to smell like a festival campground on the last day.

I heard to prevent Blackspots on especially something like TBM it can be helpful using additional Calcium.

I was using a liquid "Organic" calmag from a brand that's often used in Cannabis grows. But saw that many people swear on gypsum instead. How do you supply calcium ?
