Is my course in clearing a good thing?

I have my insurance offer from the university of Manchester for electrical engineering with a foundation year , I have just checked to see if it’s in clearing and it is .

Is it being in clearing good for me if I was to miss my offer does that mean there is space available on the course and that they may be more lenient towards me if I do miss?

Thanks for any replies or advice

Leniency

Does anyone know how lenient uni of Manchester would be for EEE foundation year or do you know if it’s a popular course ?

I was just wondering because my offer is BBB and I am doing maths, computer science ,business. I asked a similar question and I wanted to know if a lot of people apply for this course because I feel I may just be below a B in maths so I was wondering if they’d be lenient towards me if I got a C .

From my understanding, it’s more lenient if they don’t have a lot of students applying for the course so I was also wondering if it’s a popular course.

Any relevant replies and advice would be appreciated.

Are insurance offers lenient?

I am stressing out thinking about my a level maths grade knowing I have not met my firm offer from uni of Manchester EEE however I also applied to uni of Manchester foundation year EEE but I am stressing cos I think I am on the borderline for a B In maths.

So basically my question is because my insurance offer is BBB , could they be lenient with me if I got BBC as I know firm offers often offer leniency but I haven’t heard much from insurance offers being lenient and I don’t know if EEE FY at Manchester is a heavily demanded course.

Thanks for any answers
