Should I ditch my 43" 4K 60Hz MI TV for a BenQ EW270Q 27" QHD 200Hz?

Hey everyone, need some genuine advice from people who've actually dealt with this dilemma. My current setup: • CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 • GPU: ASUS Dual Radeon RX 7600 EVO OC 8GB • RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz dual-channel • Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD • Display: MI 43" 4K TV @ 60Hz (used as monitor) Games I play:Forza Horizon 5 (and FH6 dropping next week), Far Cry series, GTA 5, Cyberpunk 2077, RDR2 occasionally. So it's a mix of open world racing/exploration and FPS titles. The situation:My office gave me a ₹24k WFH allowance — can spend it on monitor, desk, chair, keyboard, headphones, etc. I also plug my office laptop into my display for work, and I genuinely prefer a big screen for productivity. What I'm thinking of getting:

  1. BenQ EW270Q — 27" QHD 1440p, 200Hz IPS (~₹18k)
  2. Cellbell ergonomic chair (~₹4,500–5,000 after card discounts)
  3. Mechanical keyboard (~₹3–4k) Total comes to ~₹26-27k so I'd be putting in ₹2-3k from my own pocket. The confusion: Going from a 43" 4K TV to a 27" 1440p monitor feels like a big downgrade in screen size and resolution on paper. But I know 60Hz on a TV is pretty painful for FPS games and fast-paced racers. The BenQ EW270Q has 200Hz + 1ms response time which should make Cyberpunk, Far Cry and Forza feel way smoother. It also has USB-C 65W which is perfect for connecting my office laptop cleanly. On the other hand — should I just keep the TV, get a good chair + desk + keyboard setup, and spend zero on a monitor? The TV does look incredible for open world games like RDR2 and Cyberpunk visually. Specific questions:
  4. For a mix of racing (Forza) and FPS games, how big is the 60Hz → 200Hz jump in actual feel?
  5. Is going from 43" 4K to 27" 1440p a visible downgrade in game visuals, or does sitting closer to a monitor make up for it?
  6. Anyone using the BenQ EW270Q specifically with an RX 7600? How does 1440p 200Hz feel with that GPU?
  7. Would you prioritize the monitor upgrade or the ergonomic chair + keyboard combo with this budget? Not looking for "just save up for better" — this is a fixed office budget and I want to make the most of it. Cheers!

I’ve been playing Forza Horizon 4 (modded, offline only) for the last few months. Because it’s offline, I can’t access online features like blueprints, tunes, etc., so I’m kind of missing out on the full experience.

Now I’m confused between a few options:

Should I buy Forza Horizon 5 right now at ~50% discount?

Or should I just wait and save money for Forza Horizon 6?

Also, if I go for FH5:

Is the Premium Edition worth it over Standard? (since it includes DLCs and Car Pass)

Or should I just get Standard and upgrade later?

Another idea I had:

Buy FH5 cheap now → enjoy full online features properly

Then later (maybe Winter Sale), buy FH6 at a discount

Would this be a smart move or a waste of money?

For context:

I mostly play casually but like grinding, cars, and events

I’ve never properly experienced Horizon online

What would you guys suggest I do?
